How good is Nao brand as compared to Lladro

If you wish to have more information on NAO, we recommend visiting the NAO website, www.naoporcelain.com"I have both Lladro and Nao sculptures in my collection and have found that the above description is accurate. lladro sculptures are more complex, i.e. more intense features, colors, flowers etc., and therefore more expensive. Lladro seems to hold it's value very well, while I do not know about Nao. Some Nao pieces are too simplistic for my tastes, but I've never found them to be less than beautiful in their own right. My thought is if you like the piece and are buying it for your enjoyment, you should not be concerned whether it is Lladro or Nao. If you are buying it as an investment, Lladro is probably a better bet. Few people, outside of collectors, know the difference so if it's to be a gift, I'd consider the recipient and event first before making my selection.

NAO - The Greatest Bond

A very sweet and tender sculpture showing a mother holding her child on her lap. The figurine was purchased for my daughter who is the mother of one son.My only negative concerns the packing as it felt less than appropiate for a piece as fragile as this. I wish the manufacturer would provide packing similar to that of the Lladro sculptures (as Nao is part of the Lladro family). While the package did survive shipping successfully, I didn't feel as confident of the piece's security when re-packing after inspecting for damage.

Gave this as a Christmas gift for my daughter who is expecting her first grandchild soon. A beautiful piece.

Absolutely beautiful

This figurine resembles my eldest son and me. He had a blue blanket he loved and had to sleep with and also sucked his thumb which I thought this figurine depicted. The expressions on their faces is endearing. This is a real keepsake for myself and then my son.

Absolutely stunning!

When I saw this, I just had to purchase it. The figurine reminds me so much of my daughter-in-law and our granddaughter. When it arrived, I was not disappointed. It was just as I had hoped. I am a great Llardo lover and this Nao brand is lovely.
