A great little plane for the money!
(Written by the husband of the account holder...)I use my model planes a little differently than most people. I am a photographer and plane enthusiast. Therefore, I photograph my planes, and THEN add them to my collection!:-) This was my first purchase of one of the less expensive Daron planes. I have have to say that, for the money, this is a pretty sturdy and durable little plane. If you are a beginner model airplane collector, it's not a bad way to start your collection, but be warned that these less expensive planes ARE NOT collector quality, nor are they meant to be. These ARE perfect for someone who wants a keepsake of a plane they flew on, a collector who's not a "die hard" collector, or for a child. I'm more in the die hard category looking for more realistic models, but I'm not sorry I purchased this plane! It's wonderful, and I hope you get one, too! --Joe--

Fun to collect them.
I have a friend who doesn’t get out very much and whenever I go someplace, I always bring her back a plane. I forgot this time so I got her one and she just raved about it. They’re very nice. The quality was good. The colors good and the size was great.

Not Perfect, But Nice
This model represents an Allegiant Airbus A319. Scale is nominally 1/250.As a scale model, it has some flaws. First, the main landing gear, in addition to being toy-like, are incorrect, consisting of two "axles", while the A319 actually has one set. A clever person can correct this.Another problem is some of the detail is simplified. For instance, the flap fairings under the wings are too short. This is a shortcoming in manufacture, so as to keep the die simple. This also applies to the winglets. Finally, the length to span ratio is slightly incorrect. However, the markings appear to be correct and are brightly printed.Again, while this isn't perfect, it does look enough like an Airbus A319, and should fit nicely into a collection.
