A great learning toy.

Our little girl absolutely loves her Toniebox audio player! The charging base is super convenient, simply plugging into the wall and sitting on any flat surface. Once fully charged, our daughter can easily remove the Toniebox and take it with her on adventures, listening to her favorite stories and songs wherever she goes. It's a fantastic way to encourage imaginative play and spark a love of learning. This Starter bundle came with 6 Tonies: Playtime Puppy, Pete the Cat, Healthy Habits, Laurie Berkner, National Geographic Dinosaur Tonies, and Yeti Creative-Tonie.

I wasn't sure how my 4 year old would take to it, but once she realized what it was and how it works, she has become an avid fan of it. She knows what each figurine does and she has her favorites (and unfavorites). It's simple to set up and operate. The smartphone app could be better, such as being able to actively control the Toniebox would be a very useful feature. Such as adjusting the volume or switching directly to a track. The sound is plenty loud enough and headphones can be plugged in. FYI, there is no bluetooth connectivity for wireless headphones, which is extremely surprising. Fortunately, her headphones has the ability to use an audio cable. The battery lasts plenty long enough - longer than it holds her interest. The charger base is proprietary, using a round pin connector in a round base. It's not the end of the world in case the charger is lost as these round pin connectors can be purchased easily enough. But I would have prefered the more ubiquitous USB-C port. You can also swap the ears out for aftermarket ones; either for customizability or because they break. These are the only buttons on the unit, so they will likely get a lot of abuse. There are plenty of other aftermarket accessories like carrying cases, protective/decorative sleeves, and shelves. I've only had one problem where tapping on the sides wouldn't rewind/advance the tracks. The solution was to plug it onto the charger, let it autoshutoff, and then turn it back on. BTW, there is no way to manually turn off the unit. It will only autoahutdown after 10 minutes of inactivity. Overall, this is a fun toy with plenty of customization and flexibility that can be operated by the child. It opens up future gifting potential for friends and family to get her additional Tonie figurines, which are NOT cheap at $18 a piece. There's definiteliy room for improvement, such as using USB-C instead of a round pin connector and ability to control the Toniebox via the smartphone app.

This set is a great value, you get a tonies starter kit that includes the puppy tonie, and then you get five more individually packaged tonies. One tonie can be customized to add whatever content you’d like onto it, we haven’t decided what we want so we haven’t tried that yet, since it’s a yeti I’m thinking we might go with some Christmas songs…but the others are super cool. It’s a great mix of stories and songs, I can see why it’s called a teacher kit but at this price I feel it’s great to get for your kids if you’re already looking into getting a Toniebox. We’re loving it and can’t wait to add on and get more tonies.

I wasn’t set on a TonieBox honestly. I thought it was kind of silly. But this has kept my 5 year old entertained every single day after school. She loves singing along, dancing and just listening to the stories that come with each little person. I cannot wait to add more Tonies to her collection! This is awesome for kiddos , and i love that it’s controlled BY THEM!

The Tonie Box is my kids favorite. This is a good deal with how many you get and I would say is better for older toddlers as there are a couple my younger kids think are boring. Overall the Tonie Box is a fabulous product and something I absolutely recommend to other parents !

This set is super cute! Love that it comes with a couple of the characters to get you started. My kiddo absolutely loves this thing. Great alternative to screen time but still keeps her very entertained. Easy for her to switch out the characters too.
