I used a portable tire inflator to inflate these, and they are fine. Yes, they are a bit cheesy and tacky, but perfect for a Jimmy Buffett bash! The base can be water filled if you want for greater stability, or just air-filled, or both. After about 5 days they sag a bit and need another injection of air, but if you're just using them for a day or two that doesn't matter. Easy to deflate and store, but best to use an inflator to fill them or you'll need a day or two to recover.

Bought 2 packs of these for a tropical-themed Bday party. You definitely will want to use some sort of compressor or air foot pump to inflate b/c the plastic is thick-er (which is nice because you can use & reuse or leave inflated; they don't loose air), but they are super cute!! Be sure to add water, sand, or something on the bottom or they don't stay upright. But they were such a hit and helped transform a pool area/backyard. Everyone loved them! They could be used inside also.

These are a cute concept for a luau or tropical themed party….but they do not stay inflated longer than 5 minutes and they are not 6’. I purchased these for a party this past weekend. I inflated them shortly before the party was to start and within 5 minutes they were deflating. I looked for leaks and found none. I re-inflated multiple times with the same result. These are also closer to 5’ when I inflated them (prior to them deflating) so keep that in mind. For more context, I ordered an inflatable palm tree cooler (different company) it worked perfectly. That said, I’m pretty confident in inflating things but this one….skip it.

These were perfect for my Hawaiian themed party. I hoped they would float in the pool but were top heavy so that didn’t work. Then I wanted to place them around the house but they would only stay upright if they were secured with twine to something stationary. I worked it out but was disappointed with their stability. They look good. A bit unwieldy to blow up the base especially. Very durable.

The tree it self is great! The reason Iam giving it 3 stars is its a pack of two and we only got one tree, it even says on the package set of two do not separate. I emailed the company and never heard anything back. I would’ve sent back, but when we got the package, my husband was very eager to open and blow up and then realized we only got one.

These were surprisingly tall for the price. Used these for a middle school band concert decoration, and they worked well. We were in a gym, so didn’t want to add water or sand as weight, so we just used some heavy gaffers tape on the bottom to keep them from tipping over.

I got these for a friend's retirement party... it is amazing how sturdy they are... I kept one in my office as décor for months after and it held up well.. i just took it down so I could put up Halloween decorations.. good quality.
