Regarding my return....
I requested refund or replacement! Well, the bag is torn and fertilizer spreading all over. Therefore please understand that the bag can not be shipped back, so it doesn't matter to me either refund or replacement is OK with me. Thank you in advance.

This should work well...waiting to see as the issue is likely me
I did a soil test and for lawns, iron should be between a 2 and 4, and my front yard was at a 1.3. That's after using Ironite in the past and everything else I put on my lawn also contains iron, so I have to assume that my lawn either has a thicker thatch layer, or the soil is compact and this is running towards the drainage ditch faster than it is absorbing into the soil. I meant to do core aeration this summer, but it kept getting pushed back. Aeration would allow water, iron, and fertilizer to easily go into the soil and reach the roots versus running on the gradual slope to the drainage ditch. If you're not getting the healthy green color, that is one way to help ensure these nutrients reach the roots before washing away.My last soil test was $26, which told me I didn't need any more fertilizer this year, so it saved me money overall. Lawn care nerds should do soil testing yearly, or every 2 years on the outside. On the outside, every 4 years just to make sure the soil pH is in an acceptable range since soil naturally becomes more acidic without lime to bring the pH back up to an acceptable level which is normally in the 6-.8 range, although that changes a little depending on the grass type.Anyway, ironite is a great way to add iron to your soil. If you're not getting a nice, deep green from your lawn with ironite, you may want to consider aeration. It doesn't matter how much iron you put down...if it does not reach the roots, it's not going to help much.
