Dogs approved from start to finish
After trying several premium dog food brands, Instinct Raw Boost has earned a top spot in our household. The freeze-dried raw pieces mixed into the kibble were an instant hit—my dogs actually pick those out first like they’re treats. It’s rare to see that kind of enthusiasm from all of them, especially since they can be picky eaters. From a nutrition standpoint, I appreciate the high protein content and grain-free formula. It gives me peace of mind knowing they are not getting unnecessary fillers. Their coats look shinier and even digestion seems smoother. The transition was easy, which speaks to the quality of the ingredients. It didn’t upset their stomachs like some foods do.. Highly recommended from a dog mom who has 5 dogs.

My dog forgot he was a picky eater!
My dog loved it. Medium sized pellets. The chicken chunks are large. Great distribution of the freeze dried chicken. Upset my dogs stomach while switching but my dog’s coat now has never been shinier. My dog gas a sensitive stomach so switching dog food is always the same. However my dog forgot he was a picky eater with this one. He really likes it.

Need the raw pieces to go back up in quantity PRONTO.
I have been feeding this food to my 22 lb Rescue rat terrier / spaniel / chihuahua/ … for 10 years, and fed it to my late Cavalier for several years before that. I feel after reading about it years ago that it is a high quality choice that I am willing to spend a bit more than I would like to on, especially because my dog loves the raw pieces. I have to say that the bags I have received in the past year have contained increasingly less raw pieces, with the latest bag having virtually NONE. My dog is not happy and neither am I. For the money, I really need the raw bit ratio to improve or I will be looking for a different food after the next delivery.

Our senior dog with a sensitive digestive system loves this food and it agrees with her system. She actually does better on this version than the limited ingredient options.

Not for dogs under 5lbs. The kibble is big. She loves the salmon bites in it!
