Great socks! Comfortable, cushioned and attractive

unfortunately, I'm a woman with large feet. These socks are so roomy and comfy, I've ordered them three times now. I love these socks!! They're thick and stretchy and pure heaven to wear around. LOVE!!!

The title gives you most of what you need to know about these socks. As you can see in the pic, the sock did shrink about 25% or so. That's par for the course for RL Polo items like this. Its one reason I don't buy their knit shirts anymore. The larger ones don't shrink enough, for some reason, while the ones my size are too small after about 10 washings, if not 8. Some say to dry clean them, but that's absurd. For one, dry cleaning polo shirts gets way too expensive. For another, the shirt will still shrink. At the very least, I've found that dry cleaning fabrics cause the item to deteriorate way faster than a traditional, delicate cycle washing.Anyway, back to the socks. They are comfortable and while they're not no-show, they don't come out of the shoe by a lot; just enough to not go below your heel. I've been wearing no-show socks since I was in high school. These are at the very least above average and probably in the top 10% of the ones I've worn. RL Polo, in spite of their shrinkage, has always made a very comfortable and durable sock. If they'd use pre-shrunk material, it would be all but perfect.I do recommend this item.

Been buying these colorful Polo socks for a few years now, in various heights and color combinations. They have the highest percentage of cotton in them of any other brand I've been able to find, and that's important to me. Different packages have had slightly different cotton percentages, ranging from 82% to 87%, the most common being 85%. Most socks nowadays have nowhere near this high a percentage. They wear and wash very well. Colors stay fresh and they don't stretch out over time. The only socks I buy now. Have purchased on Amazon and occasionally in stores if there is a good sale.Always check the cotton percentage - occasionally I've seen them in department stores where the packages look the same, but the socks themselves are mostly synthetic material.
