Hit and Miss Quality
Overall, this would have been a real bargain given everything that's included. You expect that quality is not going to be top-notch given the price point, but you really don't want to gamble on quality with electrical components. When I first installed the splitter, I noted that the wires moved quite a bit in the connector and so I took quite a bit of care in plugging it into the main harness. Turned the computer on and nothing, no boot, no power. I disconnected the splitter and tried to boot again and it came right up. I should have thrown the splitter out right there.Instead I plugged it into a different connector on the harness and tried turning it on and the computer started booting. It's a good thing that I didn't leave as within about ten seconds I started smelling electrical burning. Knowing at once I had a problem, I turned the computer off, disconnected everything and brought it outside. Pulling the cover off the splitter was smoking and a number of the wires had cooked enough to have completely melted the outer coating. Had I not taken care of this as I did, this would have been a fire for sure.

All around reject computer parts
I bought 8 sets of these. None came with enough screws. 5 drive screws to mount a ssd to the plate! For 2 plates with 8 holes Total! They included 4... bay mount screws for 8 holes again lol... they give you a 90 sata cable! Lol it is 90 position upward! Where would you even use one pointing into the bottom of the next tray? Kinda funny reject plug tossed in. Also each tray is very uneven. You will need to add washer to the bottom of each mount point. The holes in the brackets have very sharp and waved cuts. They can cut into the bottom pcb and short your drives. Dissaspointed even for the price. Did I mention 3 plates came rusted? How bad at can you have to send rusted units?

Extra Screws and a Screw Driver
I ordered nearly this exact same thing from newegg and it was "Lost in the mail." I paid less for the same thing here, I'm not sure if that's just because I have prime or because there was a sale. I was surprised when it came with a large baggy of extra screws and the screw driver. I was especially surprised when my order from newegg came like a month late without a screw driver or extra screws. I'd rate this 5 out of 5, but where the metal is cut leaves a sharp bur that could cut hands and cables. Some sand paper or a file fixes that tho so it's no big deal.

Mixed Bag
The brackets were good, but the side mounting screws did not match the threads on the bracket sides. Also the bottom holes of the brackets, for mounting the SSD to the bracket, were not beveled to accommodate the supplied hardware (i.e., flathead screws). The supplied screws for mounting the brackets to my computer were nowhere near long enough. Maybe okay for a few, but again, threads did not match the brackets. Personally I did not like the looks of the SATA cables - they worked okay - but the clear blue jacket looked cheap and it worried me. I changed to the industrial standard of the red ones and shortened to 8 inch. BTW - the extra power cable stubs were fine and very welcome.

Not sure exactly what you'll need for a disk install? Buy this and don't worry.
I only used three parts (one 2.5 to 3.5 tray, the SATA power splitter, and one of the two SATA data cables. In other words about 1/2 the parts. But it was worth it since buying those individually would have cost the same or more. And this way if I got surprised when doing the install/conversion I would probably have the parts I needed. Made it all easy.

Shipped missing screws, vendor didn't provide replacement and told me to buy my own screws for it
Problem never resolved by vendor. Product arrived with only half the screws shown in the product photo (which means only one of the two trays can be used). Reported to vendor who initially claimed replacement accessories were being sent. After nothing showed up, asked again. Was told by vendor to go buy my own screws. By this time I was past my refund window. So I am stuck with half of a kit that is worthless since I don't have the screws to mount the drive to the tray.

Missing screws, useless screwdriver, but the bracket worked ok.
What I didn't like was having to drive across town to get all the screws that I needed. The package came with a small Phillips screwdriver, but the tip was to small and pointed to seat into the heads of the screws that did come with the package. The bracket was fine. I got the impression that the kit package assembly was sloppy. Someone with little regard for the buyers actual needs threw a bunch of parts in a bag and shipped it.

holes not peprfect
These adapters will generally do the job but we had used them in a case which had pins instead of screws to hold the disk drives. It was a SuperMicro case. The holes on the 3.5 inch side were slightly out of spec so the pins would not line up. We drilled out the holes and made it work. If screws were being used as is commonly the case, this would likely not have been noticed.
