Democracy Womens Ab Solution Jegging

These jeans just might be my new Roman Empire. Where have these been all my life? Lol. Once I figured out my sizing with these, I can definitively say that they fit exactly as described - no waist gap, tummy compression, butt-lifting, great stretch that doesn’t loosen up as you wear them. Great material. They are comfy yet form fitting. My journey to figure out my size in the democracy brand was … interesting. Thank goodness for Amazon’s try before you buy. I am 133lbs, 5’3”. Depending on the brand, I deviate between a 4-8 (27-29) and usually I start by trying a 6 and 8 which I did here. The 8 was huge and the 6 was as well. Also the legs were long. I had very obvious bunching at my ankles and I really wanted a more put together look. Sent those sizes back and reordered in size 4. It was then I noticed that Democracy had short lengths. Snatched up a size 4 and 4S. The 4S is perfect. I immediately ordered the only other color available in 4S and even kept the size 4R because I loved the color. So in less than a month, I ended up owning 3 pairs of these jeggings and I will buy them again if Amazon ever carries them in a 4S!! Take advantage of “Try before you buy” and get these, they are worth the price and when on sale, a total steal!

I ordered my first pair in about 5 minutes last year ie: zero research. I needed a pair of denim jeans FAST for a 50's costume (rolled up jeans cuffs, big white shirt, cute neck scarf, cat eye glasses, saddle shoes...). I have resisted constricting clothing my whole life because I have chunky legs and am very short waisted. I knew these would be form-fitting but the big white shirt was to cover the lumps. WELL!!! I could not believe how super comfortable these were for all the reasons everyone has mentioned: super stretchy, comfy waistband, stretchy fabric that does not bag. And they are not TIGHT tight like tights. They are just enough tight but stretchy so that bending up and down is a pleasure instead of being something to avoid. And smooth, no lumps at waist or knees or anywhere! SO COMFORTABLE!!!! NOTE ON BLACK ONES: Yes, they are stinky. Research told me that this is due to the processing methods needed to get them black. And, that machine washing them with vinegar would remove the smell. YES IT DID!! And it has not come back...yet, anyway. I have 6 pairs of black ones and they are all now odor-free. NOTE ON SHORT VS REGULAR/LONG: The black jeggings and one other color of blue comes in SHORT length! These fit me perfectly. I ordered regular ones at first and shortened them but they felt baggy-ish in the thigh and knee, but still wearable. The SHORT ones solved this. They fit PERFECTLY! But beware! The legging labels do NOT state "SHORT" or "PETITE"!! The shipping info does, but not the item itself. And I have experienced ordering SHORT ones but receiving REGULAR ones so you have to check the inseam. The short ones are 2" shorter and the zipper is 1" shorter. This was the case when they were on sale for $29. I returned them because they did not send SHORT ones. Bottom line: i got rid of ALL my other jeans, in all size ranges and colors and only own these now. And order another pair now and then in case they stop making them!

These are surprisingly flattering! I wouldn’t call them jeggings. They have real pockets and a zipper. They’re stretchy but definitely denim, if a bit thinner than old fashioned denim. But definitely not leggings or edgings. They’re way nicer. Check for good prices in different colors. For some reason the price changes with the various color/wash. I got indigo for $58 where others are $78. This changed a day later so keep watching. I’m 5’4”, 165 lb, 41”, 34”, 41”. I got indigo in size 12. They’re comfortable. I put any weight in my tummy but the size 12 fits great there, yet the butt and thighs fit great too. The butt pockets are high and give a lifted look. I haven’t washed them, but if they shrink an inch they’ll still look great. They do have pre done rips (one) for style.

Jeans have been hard for me to buy lately because I gained 10 pounds and it seems to have all landed in my gut. My usual size 5 jeans fit everywhere but around my waist. I can wear them but they dig into my stomach and are uncomfortable. Sick of leggings, I went looking for real jeans that would fit around my waist without being baggy everywhere else. These Democracy Ab Solution Jeggings seemed promising because they were advertised as having a stretchy waist. I bought size 6. I am 5'5", 140 pounds for reference but was 144 pounds when I bought them. I like the weight of the jeans. They feel like lightweight jeans, not jeggings or fake jean leggings. As I pulled them up the first time, I thought to myself that there was no way that they would be comfortable around my waist. When I got there, there was incredible stretch and they buttoned with ease. They fit nicely on my legs, which are thin and long, and around my average size hips. I wore them all day and didn't have an urge to unbutton them or rip them off and toss them away like I had been feeling when wearing my other jeans. They were comfortable and moved with me. They also helped to flatten my belly a little as well. I am happy with the jeans and will buy another shade. I got blue which is more on the lighter side of blue and now want a darker shade for fall and winter. I just wish they were a tad bit longer. They hit at about my ankle which is OK but I prefer jeans that are an inch or two longer than that. With boots and heels though, they look fine. Note that I do have long legs so they should fit fine lengthwise on those with average length legs.

I came for a sale but will forever live in the land of these jeans now regardless of cost. Curvy ladies (I am 5'3", 190lbs): do it. Push the buy now button. Fits like a glove, stretches in all the right places, belly and butt friendly, hides all your insecurities. COMFORTABLE WHEN SITTING. How did they do that with a still flattering appearance? Experience the magic for yourself - just give them a try.

Comfortable and fits well!

I was so sad when Ricki's stopped selling these. A friend told me they were available on Amazon and I'm so glad I found them again. These are the most comfortable jeans I've ever owned. I'm 5' 3" 115 lbs and the size 2 Short is a great fit.

Very disappointing. I bought Democracy jeans in a store a few years ago and love them. Saw them here on Amazon so took a chance and bought two pairs. The grey pair are terrible!! They have small rips in them and they look dirty but it’s meant to be scratches or something. I wanted to wear these for work but they look like washed out ugly old jeans that you’d wear for painting or something. Big disappointment and waste of money 👎🏼👎🏼

Very comfortable and light

I owe 3 pairs jeans from this brand and absolutely love the fit, very flattering for a curvy figure. I wish they were less expensive though. The color is very dark blue, almost black, they are stretchy and super comfortable. Definitely will buy them again.

I’m not a fan of jeans but these were very comfortable and fit perfectly as well as a great price.
