I have crochet pieces from my Irish grandmother but no idea of how to do them. This book helped me find, if not the exact pattern, something very close, which I could often alter to fit my grandmother's piece.

I have always liked Irish crochet and have done a number of bedspreads and doilies using Irish crochet. When I first started doing Irish crochet it was scary, but I dove right in and found out, if you can read a pattern you can do it. I recommend this to all crocheters to try.

they are beautiful patterns, but not what i was looking for. Im not found of making bedspreads from thread [ tho there is no denying their beauty!] or even lace to sew on dresses, hang on shelf ends etc. I was thinking / hoping there would have been more doilies and baby items in this booklet. It's pretty good anyways, just not my favorite.

Great book, easy to follow instruction I made some very nice doilies and table runners. I highly recommend this book

Love it, in great condition. I can't wait to start practising these techniques.

I've crocheted all my life. I've created many bedspreads, tablecloths using the Irish crochet method and not knowing it. :) However, this book had a few more stitches and overall was a great read.

Très déçue de ce libre. Je ne suis pas forcément débutante en crochet … et c’est assez mal expliqué. Les photos sont en blanc et noir, peu lisible … enfin, je regrette mon achat :/

Lovely crochet designs they are vintage you can obtain similar designs on the Internet itis far better to have them in book form IT is too advanced for a beginner because of the terminology for those who want to learn IRish crochet this book is a good starter. IT arrived quickly well protected with the. Packaging would certainly recommend both the book and the seller
