Night lights are generally rather ugly things and most need a power socket to work - where they will continue to draw energy even when not lit up. I liked the idea of this unit being rechargeable - if you own a power pack, it will be ideal and the night light should recharge fully in around 2.5 hours, which is a decent time. It is estimated to last around 30 days between charges but that will obviously depend on how much it is used.The buttons you need to change the settings are on the side - press the ON button first to activate the unit. The little instruction leaflet contains all you really need to know on the first page regarding changing brightness and also selecting one of 3 different lighting tones. All very simple and likely best if you can do this before you install it.Although there is a built in magnet on the back of the unit I will admit to having some difficulty getting it to adhere to anything. However, since I wanted it on the wall, I simply took off the protective sheet from the metal back plate and stuck it on.Note - the metal backplate is actually already magnetically fixed to the night light, it is not separate in the box. If you do not wish to use this then simply take it off.In use it worked perfectly. I set it up to turn on when it senses human movement and then it turns itself off when the person is out of the room or out of range (about 10 feet).The light itself is not very bright but then night lights are not intended to be the same as lamps, they are intended only to add light to a dark area. And this does the job perfectly. Not only that, it is a lovely modernist design and doesn't look out of place.For more complete testing I have stuck this on the wall of my shower room since the seller states it is suitable to be used in bathrooms. Should I experience any issues with this in the future I will update my review but, for now, it is ideal.This unit looks good, it is very decorative, and works exactly as described. An easy 5 star rating and I look forward to using this myself daily.

This is a really delightful PIR rechargeable wall light that would go with just about any decor. I'm pleased to say it has a day/night setting, important because you don't want it lighting up a wall in broad daylight every time you get near it.You can adjust brightness and colour temperature as well as day or night setting, and it attaches to a wall with a sticky pad.It should be born in mind this light has a built-in battery so will need a 5v power source to recharge, a USB lead is supplied. This could prove to be a problem if the light is fitted in a bathroom for example where no mains supply is available. A buyer may choose to find an alternative means of fixing to a wall, perhaps with a hook or Velcro to allow easy removal when in need of a charge.A very nice wall light that I would highly recommend.Edit:> I have since discovered the sticky pad on the back of the light attaches to the light itself magnetically so it can easily be lifted away from the wall to recharge....an even better buy.>

This light is perfect to use at night it provides enough light to light a small landing and saves turning on the main light and disturbing anyone the light is very easy to use and has three light settings natural, warm and white it is easy to switch between them and the light is dimmable. I have had the light in place for over thirty hours after it's first charge and it's still going.The magnet on the back is strong and holds the light well, there is a self adhesive metal disk that can be stuck to a wall to mount the light also.The instructions are clear and easy to follow although a little small to read overall I am really pleased with it

A pretty shell shaped light which looks good in a bedroom, bathroom, hallway or virtually anywhere you like. It is fixed onto a wall, cupboard or other surface by a sticky pad which then sticks onto the shell by a strong magnet. It charges up by your USB port and can be set to work in three ways - light on all the time, night time sensing mode and all day sensing mode. Nice looking unit, looks good in any setting.

A very easy to use light that looks quite smart. It is rechargeable so no new batteries to buy. It has 3 working modes and the sensor works perfectly. It can be used as a child's night light or it be placed almost anywhere in the home wherever it is needed. The price is ok for the quality and the fact it is rechargeable.

A bit fiddly to set up and instructions tiny, but once I got through setting up I have to say I’m pleased. The magnet connection is great, I’ve had some in the past where the magnet is rubbish.Good light coverageI’ll say that a little negative is that if the area you are putting it is not too bright you will find that the light activates even if on night time mode. My passage isn’t the brightest and I found the light activating in the day time where it shouldn’t have. Easy fix though, just switch off or take down until duskNot sure how long the charge will last in reality as it depends how much footfall there is. I have a dog who wanders around the house randomly which was causing it to go on too much for my liking.

I got this for the bathroom its a perfect light doesn't hurt your eyes also picks up movements very quick

This is such a simple idea as it can be used as a down or up lighter, and one of our biggest bugbears has been that if we switch the bathroom light on in the middle of the night the fan also comes on and it is incredibly bright and wakes you up, we have now stuck this on the wall as an uplighter. It includes a metal disc to stick on the wall and the light has a magnet to make it easy to take off to recharge. clever design and you can set light intensity and colour temperature.
