Works fine and feels good
I bought some of this years ago and went back to buy some more. Plenty of weight in the cable and it is nice and flexible. Not had any issues with it going hard due to time out in the sun, although to be fair I tend to take it in when I am not using it. Would definitely buy it again, and I did!

Hi temp silicone cable
For hot water immersion heaters, use of high temp silicone coated cable is really essential. This enables wiring for direct connection to the adjustable thermostatic controller outlet. Cable coating is supple and wire within is very flexible. 14 AWG gauge is more than sufficient capacity for 13 amp current and 3Kw (240v) demand. The tin coated copper wire has given very good electrical contact. Fitted now for over 3 weeks to an immersion heater (live and neutral poles). Works perfectly without evidence of deterioration or heat stress to the insulation. Adequately meets the demands of the application intended and temperature tolerance specified.
