Healthy Hide 6" Triple Flavor Pizzle Kabob, One Size

By the description and picture i was under the impression i was getting 2/ 5packs. The picture states, and shows 5 treats per package. I only received 1/ 2pack. Very disappointing because my dog likes them.

My dogs asked me to rate these a "10" and then I explained to them that the rating doesn't go any higher than a 5. After this explanation they were then OK with my rating them a "5".They did not spend a lot of time working with these---they were gone in a flash.This is one GREAT product and I will order more of then when I can. I'm sure they are worth the price because the ingredients are really of good quality. The downside is that I cannot afford to get them the good stuff that they so deserve. Hopefully the manufacturer will read these reviews and make the price for this item a little more within our reach. Meanwhile they have their memories. :)

Ok, Ginger tried to ignore this while we were eating fried chicken, but after that, all her attention went to the treat! She ignored the grooming I was taking care of while she chewed away; she usually gets annoyed and runs off.These are a bit messy, as the goody stuff on the chewable "stick" tends to crumble, but it's not a big deal. Most dogs will happily hoover up the crumbs. I suppose I could have used my pruning shears to snip these into smaller treats for a small dog, but I just let her enjoy herself and eat the whole thing. Definitely gave her some good chewing!

My puppyperson, Mrs. Peel, got in trouble. She darted out my truck. I had to chase her down. I tripped and fell. She then came to me because I stopped playing the "chase" game; puppy logic. So I didn't let her try these treats until this morning; yes, she was grounded. She's lucky I didn't wait until my scabs fall off, which will be over a week. My knee is all jacked up.So my puppyperson is ten; she just thinks she is tiny. She became very interested when I opened the pack. When I gave the one kabob, there are two in a pack, to her, she grabbed it like a pig and hopped around the kitchen like a bunny. While she loved it, the price is way to high. She scarfed down $6.50 of treat in less than five minutes. The treat was made for her size, which is medium.

My small dog is a very active chewer and she loves bully sticks, even if I'm a little weirded out by what they are. I liked the concept of the treat, it is a bully type stick with meat treats on it. It gives my dog an immediate treat as she pulls off the meat bits first, then she gets some chewing enjoyment. It is mostly natural but I did notice some dyes listed on the ingredients. Even with the dyes I didn't notice any staining on my carpet where she chewed her stick. She really enjoyed them which is the most important thing when choosing treats and chews. Overall I like that it is like two treats in one, isn’t messy or smelly and it makes my dog happy.

I would like to say my two dogs enjoyed these but that would imply that they chewed on them for a few minutes. They ate this like I have not been feeding them for the past 10 years. No smell which is a plus. My older Collie mix has a sensitive stomach and will throw up anything that is different from his usual diet. These didn't aggravate it. You don't get a whole lot for the money but I'll get more because of the Collie

I like the treat because Nikita loves them. What I don't like is the price for two items. Nikita being a larger dog, she is a small Pitt, means she gets the whole thing at once and it does not last long. There is some mess involved from the ingredients but that was no problem since she sniffed those out right away and scarfed those up right away. I would love to provide these more often but the cost and shipping time makes it not feasible.
