First I ordered the large size for when I work in the yard, it was a very hot summer in Boston, and I was out 4 - 6 hours a day. The water stayed nice and cold all day long. Then I ordered a smaller one for hiking, the smaller size has worked out well. A dear friend is a traveling sales person, she was commenting that she was in a huge traffic jam but had no water, as nothing stayed cold and she was concerned about having "heated" water in the car. So I bought her the large one. She adds ice to it and it has worked great. The other night it took her seven hours to get home from NYC, she was so grateful to have cold water to help keep her awake. Excellent water bottle that keeps cold water cold for a very long amount of time. I had filled it with ice water in the morning and it was sitting in a warm to hot car most of the day and at the end of the day it was still very cold! It's durable and solid and overall a great buy.

I use young living essential oils in my water. Perfect stainless steel bottle for this and my water stays COLD!

I bought this because I wanted to take smoothies to work. I stick the stainless steel part in the freezer for about an hour while I get ready for work. I don't have a refrigerator at work so my smoothie has to sit in my bag for a few hours. But with this thermos, it's still nice and cold at lunch time!I definitely recommend it, but if you want to keep it cold, make sure to stick in the freezer! On the other hand, if you want to keep something warm, fill it with boiling water for at least ten minutes before you put your coffee or soup of whatever in it. This just helps it maintain the desired temperature and not still heat or cold from its precious cargo.

Literally the best water bottle ever. It keeps my drink cold for hours (probably around 8-10) and it's the perfect size to carry around. I hate exposed lids, so this water bottle does the trick!

Works great. Gets daily use, and I prefer this style because of flip top, dont have to touch the spout with sandy hands.
