There is 18 shock levels but I've never needed past level 2. I have used this brand since ive bought my first dog, ive rarely ever had to use the shock function, esther, vibrate and beep are usually enough. They work very well for training. They are not heavy, but they're not cheaply made, they are perfectly weighted. Super easy to set up all you have to do is plug it in and charge it and it's ready to go, right out of the box, my. It's easy to remove, it's just a buckle collar.

After one week using this training collar on my 65lb Bulldog, Bruno, and 12lb cat, Luna, I'm beyond impressed. The PATPET collar exceeded expectations, providing an effective, comfortable solution I thought impossible. For my Bulldog Bruno, he's really stubborn! A mid-level vibration (Level 5) is usually enough to snap him out of digging up my roses or ignoring a recall at the park. On rare occasions when he's hyper-focused on a squirrel, a very low static (Level 2-3) gets his attention instantly without causing distress. And the security keyboard lock is genius can make no accidental shocks during cuddle time! And for my baby cat Luna, we use only the beep and very low vibration (Level 1-2) for her. The beep works wonders to deter her from scratching the sofa – she hears it and stops immediately! The gentlest vibration is reserved for serious no-nos (like trying to jump on the hot stove). The granular control means I can use the absolute mildest effective correction for her sensitive nature. Huge peace of mind. In just one week, the collar has transformed our training. Bruno's recall is sharper, his focus is better, and unwanted behaviors like digging are drastically reduced. Luna has stopped scratching furniture entirely with just the beep! This collar gets my absolute highest recommendation!

This training collar is lightweight, easy to set up, and works great for my golden retriever. The vibration and tone modes are effective without needing shock, and the remote range is impressive. Battery lasts a long time, and it’s even waterproof. Perfect for gentle training and behavior correction. I appreciate that it locks so you can’t accidentally trigger the collar.

I’ve used this brand before and really like it, but this particular collar just didn’t work great for my dog. I have a miniature schnauzer (about 16 lbs), and he doesn’t respond well to the tone—it might be too quiet or too high-pitched for him to take seriously. That said, it still gets the job done when I need it to, and the battery holds a charge for a long time, which I appreciate. Might work better for other dogs, but just didn’t seem like the best fit for mine.

My dog had a barking problem...HAD is the key word here. This collar is awesome. I don't even use the shock button, just the buzzer.

Currently giving this product a 3 star until I receive my replacement and also to see how long this replacement will last. I bought this product almost a month ago and it was working as intended. Until one day the product broke in a spot where it could not be fixed (Photos for proof). I have since reached out and requested a replacement and it is on its way. I would hope this product will last past more than a month but we will see. If this replacement breaks this time, I will be requesting a full refund and moving on with a different product/company. As well as updating this review with probably more on the negative side. Edit on 6/28/25 The replacement I received only lasted a month and it broke in the same spot. And unfortunately I cannot get a refund this time around. Although the device was ok, the entirety of it was a disappointment. Please redesign the collar part so this doesn’t continue being an issue.

My partner and I got our first younger pup together. He’s almost 2 years and a VERY smart dog, so smart he feels he doesn’t always have to listen to verbal commands (lol). We were mainly struggling on working with his constant barking/chasing our cat whenever she went in/out of any room we were in (never aggressive, but it was excessive & she does not like it!). We were recommended a training collar and I stumbled upon this specific model of Patpet collars. It seemed to have the best reviews so we ordered as soon as we could! This training collar is AMAZING! Not only has the barking subsided to almost none, he now (for the most part) leaves the cat alone! We’ve had the collar for a little over a week and can already see huge progress! The whole time, we’ve kept the prongs off and have only used the vibration/tone on the remote. The instructions were very clear and everything is visibly packaged. The size customization on this collar is great too, fit our 40lb mix with a good amount of slack to spare (which we just tucked into the adjuster so it wouldn’t flap/bother him). I love how I can customize the level of vibration and am so happy with the lock feature. I am able to keep the remote on me when we work with the collar on and not worry about accidentally setting it off. I couldn’t be happier with the results, as I also feel he is responding to verbal commands a lot more consistently than before. HIGHLY recommend this collar & brand!

Have absolutely loved patpet’s products! I have multiple dogs and have previously bought training collars from them and now with another doggy addition I wouldn’t go with anyone else. Customer service is too notch! If any problems they are quick to reply and quick to make a resolution for you and they will send replacements very quickly. Could not recommend more! Products are very affective and very easy to use. Range is perfect for my property and the adjustable shock levels are great! Not super heavy so my dogs wear is easily and comfortably. Charges very quickly and the charge lasts us quite a while!

I’m giving it 4 starts because it’s doing what it says, but unfortunately it’s not working for my cat (vibration setting). My husband tried the shock collar on himself and said it’s quite intense. I can’t imagine using that on an animal.
