They seemed noticeably brighter than the standard Osram Xenons fitted to my car (one blew after several years, so not bad service). The fitting was very straightforward (once the headlamp unit was out of the car, which with my clumsy fingers was the only way of getting them in!). So, as the blurb on Osram's Amazon site says "for drivers that are convinced that maximum visibility and safety are of primary importance", I agree (mind you, who wouldn't?).I think they were fairly expensive (at c£62 per pair) but I prefer going for a reputable brand and these were about the cheapest of those. There is also a handy check on the Osram website to make sure they are genuine.I have only had them in the car for about 2 weeks, so I can't judge the longevity but if they burn out within the next couple of years I will update the review.

It's too early to tell if these will last, but the fitting experience on a BMW 420 F36 has been good. As others have said the bulbs have a slightly warmer hue than the outgoing/failed Philips but the brightness is great and I have now replaced both sides.Replacement was the easiest job on any car I have owned (prob 10 min max) and after the manual saying "main dealer job" I was initially hesitant to give it a go. I just turned wheel to full lock to give maximum access into the wheel arch, unclip small cover in the wheel arch and a cover on the back of the headlight rotates off. Lots of videos you know where help in this matter. Top job, fortune saved, very happy.

One of the Xenon bulbs had failed on my 3 series BMW & locally the replacement cost of the bulb was £75 + fitting cost.I was aware of how to replace it, the front wheel has to be removed, a few bolts to remove from the plastic guard, then a few torx screws from the cover of the bulb itself.There's several YouTube videos showing how.Just remember not to touch any part of the bulb except the silver box that house's the capacitor.This bulb is identical to the one replaced, same brand etc as installed at the factory.Needless to say it's performance, brightness etc are as original.Finally it was less than half the cost quoted for just the bulb locally - greedy dealership.

I ordered D4s for my Honda CRV & I spent two bulbs from Osram for a cheap £66 whereas Honda quoted £212 each. The package came in an ordinary envelope. Luckily, there was no damage. I replaced it at home in 10 min. The colour was fine with 4300K which was the UK limit. I don't know how long these lights would last, a couple of years would be fine.

Hard to fault these. Bought these for an Audi A8 which was suffering one bulb going "pink", which meant it was on the way out. After doing a lot of shopping about and weighing up between OEM philips bulbs and non-OEM cheaper aftermarket ones, I opted for these. The main reason was that they were quite a bit cheaper than philips, but still a well known brand and promised extended beam etc. Also, changing bulbs on an A8 is a bit of a handling (either remove air fliter housing & move power steering pump or else take off wheel and remove wheel-liner to gain access!), so I weighed the extra cost against the hassle of having to replace them again if they went. Anyway I decided that the standard osram D2S was the best mix of cost and quality, then I saw the nightbreaker twin-pack for around £7 more than two standard ones, so I went for these. They came well packaged and looked to be good quality, as you'd expect from a German brand. They were definitely genuine, but after reading a few dodgy stories on forums I opted to buy from Amazon as a seller, so you would expect them to be genuine coming directly from Amazon. Anyway, fitting went well and they are both on my car now. I've only been out a few times at night in the city so far, but they are good, better than before I don't know. It'll take a late night out of town run to confirm that, but they do appear to throw light around the front of the car better and I no reason to expect they won't be good out in the real dark. As one other reviewer said already. They are a good obulb, but I wouldn't be "upgrading" to them unless I had to change a bulb anyway
