Liquid Culture Premix

Yuantide Bio Mycology Liquid Culture Premix is simply the best product for making your LC. The mycelium really loves it. I had visible mycelium growth within 2 days and the rate of growth was unbelievable after that. I only put 2cc's of "store bought" LC into the sterilized jar. Now I have 500cc's. You can actually use less than recommended 22g of mix for 500ML of water and it still does great. It sure beats buying $15-$30 LC syringes from a company who does the same thing. This will be the only premix I'll use from now on.

It really helps speed up mycelial growth. Fungi absolutely loved this stuff. So far, it is the best I have had.

Arrived as a solid mass in a plastic bottle which I am sure let in moisture. Label suggests that this product is good though its expiration date but there is no date stamped on bottle. I’ll have to chip this product out with an ice pick and then grind it to use it. I would not purchase again.

The liquid culture is very cloudy and foamy, you can't see if the mycelium is growing well.

I have seen some vendors offer mushroom growing media and the like at prices where you think they must be using gold! But this company has done it right, and offered a quality product at a reasonable price. From the few bottles of liquid culture I've made up so far the mycelium has taken to it very nicely, and don't worry about measuring the different ingredients like you may have done in the past! Also, the liquid culture media was easy to sterilize in my pressure cooker, and didn't turn a hazy yellow color like all my home made brews in the past. My experience with this liquid culture has been fast growth and nothing but positive experiences, definitely recommend checking this out for growing your gourmet mushies!!

Ordered one. Showed up in the bottle as a solid mass. Initiated a return, opted for replacement, it also arrived solid as a rock. As far as I can tell, you’ll need to figure out how to grind these rocks into powder.
