Loved the glasses
Loved the glasses, some how though, I forgot that they would be made from LITERAL Himalayan Salt. So, I pour some tequila and just like that the tequila started spilling through the small cracks. So we needed to have a 0 sec wait time from shot pouring to shot taking due to it draining. They look fantastic and taste salty. Definitely a nice quirky find for anyone looking for a Himalayan salt vibe. 10/10 Would buy again 6/10 on functionality.

Mixed on this one
So, they are made out of salt, and will dissolve one day. The first time we used them - perfect. But, they have been getting saltier and saltier as we use them. So I don't love them as much any more. And, Pouring Patron Silver in one the other night...one developed a "crack" and leaked. Waste of good tequila! But, we knew they would break down eventually...so shouldn't be surprised. Great novelty, got on Prime day for a good deal. Prob wouldn't buy at full price

3rd time’s the charm…kind of
I ordered the 12-pack of these shot glasses because it was a better deal than 8. And because I’ve so enjoyed sipping tequila out of my previous glasses, I have to throw them out after a period of use so figured this 12-pack was the way to go.However, I received a set of 8 instead of 12. So, I initiated the return, went to the UPS Store, and reordered the 12-pack again. A couple days go by - I’m getting anxious because my one remaining shot glass is on its last leg (the liner is separating from the salt, causing liquid to get trapped in between the layers; when this happens, the glass starts to deteriorate and also leak, making a salty mess on the end table). The package arrives and upon opening the box, I see I’ve received yet another set of 8. Good grief. This time, I provide seller feedback letting them know the situation and ask them to kindly send me a set of 4. I wait a couple days, still not opening anything just in case I have to return these, too. I hear nothing so I chat with support. She was amazing, sending me a new set AND refunding my original purchase. I was very pleased, even though I just needed 4, not an additional 12.Anyway, I decide to open the glasses and at first, I’m impressed with the glasses. They’re sturdy and just a bit taller than the ones I usually use. Upon closer inspection, there’s no plastic liner. I’m thinking, “how the hell are these going to work?” Doubtful, I pour my current fave tequila and take it to the couch. First sip, delicious. Second and subsequent? Very salty. Like so salty that my wife commented on the look on my face. When the glass was empty, there was a tequila all over my end table. Like I expected, they leak like crazy.I can’t use these glasses which is a big bummer because soon I will have 20 of them, or 16 if they ship the wrong package a 3rd time… And while I’m not out any money, it’s aggravating. If I wanted these only for taking shots, I might be ok with them. But I’m a middle-aged woman sipping really good tequila at home with my dogs and my wife - getting drunk is not my goal.Depending on how you plan to use these very nice no liner glasses, consider finding some with liners. They take a while to deteriorate and only leak when liquid gets in between the layers - and your tequila isn’t sooooo salty, either.

Completely change the way you drink Tequlia!
Since these shot cups are completely made of salt they will flavor the tequila just from contact. Pour the shots and let them sit for a few seconds, or lick the edge of the "glass" to salt your palette and then drink. Perfect! But since they are made entirely of salt, they will slowly deteriorate as the salt is absorbed or washed away (Hand wash only!) so they won't last forever. But they still make a great addition to tequila drinking. And each one has a unique pattern so they look good too!

Only good for "shots" - otherwise you are drinking brine.
Whether you like these or not depends on how you use them. These are SALT and there is no mistaking that you are drinking from salt. If you use these as real shot glasses (poor, knock back, suck a lime) they save you the salt on your hand step. If you are thinking about sipping high quality tequila from them, forget it. Any liquid left in these will be brine in minutes. My wife loves salty things, so I thought these would be good to have around but soon found out they are good for one thing - quick shots. The only other problem is if you get a cracked one, it will leak. I got a cracked on in my set. Since they are packaged really well I suspect it was cracked in manufacturing (it didn't necessarily look cracked).** Update ** I was not satisfied that I spent money on these (they seem so cool) but was not getting any use out of them so I started looking around for possibilities... I came across some ideas in "salt" and "salt block" related books and websites (you know the whole salt block craze going on)... so there is hope. One I saw was dipping these in melted chocolate to coat the inside and about half of the outside (vertically) to create a dessert cup for things that go well with chocolate (and a little salt always goes well with chocolate and caramel). Keep the chocolate coating very thin (might make more sense to brush it on) so that the salt will come through as the chocolate wears off while eating/drinking. I'm sure there are lots of other good ideas - just not the one I really wanted it to be :-) But... tequila goes with chocolate, right?
