This is multi-purpose tray which I use as a centerpiece and it looks very nice. I bought it for Christmas to see what I can do with it. As it turns out I can use it as a great centerpiece with a few pine cones, candles and holly in it . The size is ideal for me.

TheTray is covered with a thin film, protecting the copper, but creating a muted finish. Its fine, but it seems like the coating should be removable.

The tray that I got wasn’t level, and it was very pretty, but more of a purple-ish black versus a weathered copper.

It is a cheap metal. It is 100% a dark gray color with very slight hints of a copper color.Pictures:The one on carpet is taken with flash to show the "copper" accents.The one by the window is taken with natural light, no flash. It is clearly gray.
