Great Skates!
Been using these for months now, and they have held up great and give a nice, quick, smooth glide on my pad.

Actually Fantastic
I was definitely skeptical when I considered buying mouse skates. I couldn’t find a set that fit my mouse from anywhere. It’s a Corsair Sabre Pro. I love this mouse. I had a problem with the mouse where I had to remove one of the factory skates, which completely ruined it. I liked this mouse so much I actually bought 2 more. But it was a shame having an otherwise perfectly good mouse here that was only bad because one of the skates was wrinkled. So I decided on these universal skates. Didn’t have high hopes as it seems like not a lot of people reviewed the universal ones. Came with 8 small round glass skates (I think, it’s been months at this point). Just installed them on top of my original mouse skates. I was concerned it would mess with the mouse’s tracking. I have the ability to increase sensitivity if I want, but I don’t think it was necessary, even at the increased height off the mouse pad. They went on fine. It’s been quite a few months at this point and they’re sticking to the mouse perfectly fine. It took some getting used to. The difference is substantial. I have a brand new mouse to compare it to, and i definitely prefer the one with the glass skates. It’s much smoother and slides virtually effortlessly. I’m sold on glass skates. I’ll never go back to normal ones ever again. They’ve improved my game. Not by a ton, but there’s a measurable improvement in my reaction time and perhaps even accuracy. I’m definitely a little bit faster. The difference is small. I’ve been gaming on pc for almost 20 years at this point, but there’s always room for improvement. I like these so much, I won’t use any other mouse for gaming. I mainly play Destiny 2 when I use a mouse and keyboard. I’ve been wanting to write this review for a while now, but I’ve been busy doing other stuff. I like the skates so much I really just wanted to let people know they’re really good.

Great skates
Noticeable upgrade with the installation of these. No regrets here.

A little thin, but otherwise great dots!
I use a glass mousepad, and I was sick and tired of always having to change out my PTFE dots and buying more, as they would wear down very quickly. Decided to buy these, and absolutely love them! Since they're glass, they're much more durable, meaning I won't be having to replace them any time soon. The glide is stellar, and my mouse flicks and tracking definitely improved. There one flaw woth these, and it is that they're just a little too thin. 6mm is barely enough to protruding from the indents that my mouse has for the feet to set in. This leads to an occasional, awful grinding feeling. This typically doesn't impact my game performance, though it is still a little annoying. Out of all the packs of mouse dots I have bought, this pack definitely has the highest price per dot ratio, as you will only get 8 dots for the $18 price point. As far as other packs, I have bought several PTFE packs that are $8 and come woth 40 dots. I understand that these are glass, yet I don't fully believe that the $18 price point is exactly fair. I only say this because, if your mouse also has indents where the feet are supposed to go, you're going to want to use all 8 dots. This means that you won't have any extra left over if you only buy one pack, so, hopefully they last a good amount of time. In the video, you see that I originally tried to use 4, but I later discovered that it would create an imbalance, allowing my mouse to wobble left and right while using it.

It glides!
Massively reduces static friction, a bit more slippery than brand new PTFE skates during movement. This translates to very good dynamic response and tracking. But it will not mask imperfections of your movement(or the pad) like PTFE on a regular pad. Needless to say, this is made for specific gaming needs and not for shaky hands.

Excellent mouse skates from an excellent company
As promised, I am revising my review. I’ve ordered three sets of these mouse skates. The second set I ordered was incorrectly made due to a QC issue at the factory. I left a one star review. Talon Games immediately contacted me and offered a full refund. I ordered a third set (I understand that there is no such thing as perfect quality control), and the skates came perfectly polished and nicely rounded. Excellent mouse skates. I appreciate that they sell them in 6mm dots, as that is the optimal mouse skate configuration. Absolutely five stars for well-priced, high performance mouse skates from a seller that stands behind their product and is responsive to customer feedback.

Mind-bogglingly smooth
I applied the skates to my zowie za-11c gaming mouse and I have to say the result is way more spectacular than I could have imagined. This is my first time using mouse skates and it's such a massive reduction in friction that the slanted surface my mousepad sits on is actually causing me a problem now. I now literally have a problematic lack of friction, but only when I'm not using the mouse and it's just a perfect illustration of the product working perfectly as intended! This was a super inexpensive option and I think the universal design of this particular model would work beautifully for any mouse that has a flat base making contact with the pad.

replace the PTFE skate for G703
update Nov 6th: last day I can request refund, decided to keep it to see if I can get more used to it. change the rating to 3/5 and will update if I get accustomed to it. the promised gliding is there, i will give it 5 stars. However, the clicking issue was not expected. I did get slightly better at handling the mouse but I sometimes still need to click multiple times to get basic desktop click/double click to work because of the skate worked too well update oct 12th: have been using the new skate for about a week. I start getting mixed feeling about this product. This product does indeed make the mouse glide well and it's really smooth. However, this is also making the mouse really difficult to use for productivity. Any click I make or any slight force will move the mouse. It makes double click / drag and drop extremely difficult for me personally. Hopefully I will be able to adjust and get used to it. changed to 4 stars and hope I can give it 5 stars after I am used to it. original: I previously replace the stock skate for my G703, but it seems to be wearing out and start dragging whenever I move my mouse. figure I will invest more this time and try out the glass skate. It's impressive upon installed, it glide so well that I wish I got it earlier. Hopefully it will last.
