Q: Is this good for senior dogs?

I'm no expert. However, IMO it's a definite yes. My dogs are American Eskimo's, both around 10 years old. I don't have to give them as much food as with other brands and they maintain their weight. One of my dogs is very picky. But not with this brand. I rotate between the chicken and fresh fish recipe's. Hope this helps!

Q: Is there a specific Acana dry food best for large breeds, as in. a Rottweiler

No there isn't. Acana does not make breed or life stage specific foods in the USA. Orijen makes a Large Breed Puppy formula so of your Rotti is under 12 months, I'd suggest that food. Paul

Q: Can this be given to puppies?

Yes. My puppy was on another puppy kibble and I first started mixing 50/50 moving to all Acana over about 3 weeks. There are suggested feeding amounts by age on the package. My puppy is now nearly 1 year old and is the perfect weight for his breed; English Cocker Spaniel with a LOT of energy.
