Black cap replacement worked just fine
I have a spot bot hands free but it broke and apparently they don’t make it anymore. Used ones in poor condition run around $400. I’m elderly and injured and can’t get down on the floor to use the hand tool attachment. The Black Cap & Insert Assembly Replacment for Bissell SpotBot Pet Portable Carpet Cleaner has been working very well for the past six weeks, no leaks and I’ve used it three times so far on old stains. I recommend it.

Can be made to fit a spot-bot 1200
The threads on the cap are wrong, but the insert fits the machine perfectly.Took a cap that fir the clean water tank, drilled a 1/2 inch hole in it, then pushed the inner part of this cap into the new just-drilled-one.A little silicone, and off the races.BTW: the 1200 spot-bot cap for the clean water tank is un-obtainium. This is your best bet to make one that works.
