Holds a lot of water and keeps it cold for a long time. The only thing missing would be a bristle brush to clean the straw.

This insulated water bottle by Carote was delivered in a branded cardboard box and was wrapped within a bubble wrap bag meaning it arrived in good condition without any scuff marks. The water bottle comes in a selection of different colours and I chose the beige but it is also available in both purple or rose. The water bottle has a large capacity of 960ml so lasts a good amount of time and is perfect for a day out walking or other various activities. The water bottle measures 9cm in diameter and has a height of 23.5cm.The water bottle has a double walled construction and is made from 18/8 stainless steel with a vacuum layer in between to maintain good insulation for both hot and cold drinks. The outer surface has a grippy texture so you are less likely to drop it and there is the CAROTE logo on the front of the bottle in black. The lid provides an excellent seal which so far has remained leak proof. The water bottle feels from sturdy in its construction and being made of stainless steel will also be rust proof as well as BPA free. However, if dropped it will almost certainly dent and it may scuff over time as well if you aren’t careful with it. The elements of the bottle are easy to clean and are dishwasher safe.The water bottles a built-in handle which is comfortable enough to hold and a flip up straw which is easy to sip from. There is also a spare straw included which is very thoughtful. Personally, I will only be using the bottle for water, maybe with the occasional addition of fruit in it and I like that it is easy to add ice cubes into the bottle without having to crush the ice up. It does say that it keeps drinks cold for 48 hours (and drinks hot for 24 hours) but my water definitely doesn’t last me that long and did a good job of keeping my water nice and cool throughout the day when we went for a walk on a warm day.Priced at £19.99 (with an additional 15% off voucher valid until the 31st August 2023) at the time of reviewing, it is a good quality bottle for the price and effectively reminds you to stay hydrated. Having tested other Carote products before I do think the brand produces excellent quality items that last so I would definitely recommend it.

My husband plays badminton twice a week and he drinks a lot of water when playing. We did not have big water bottle so he always took a bottle of 1 litre mineral water with him. However, it was not easy to use. The water bottle was too soft and slippery to hold. He also needed to unscrew it open and screw it to close frequently.This wate bottle is made from strong and thick stainless steel so safe for warm and cold drinks, and also durable. There is a built-in plastic straw in the lid, which is easy to open for drinking. The straw can be removed for washing but dirty may build up in the build-in part of the lid so I use straw brush to clean it regularly. The solid handle is easy for carrying. Definitely leak proof so far. It is too big to fit in the bottle slot in the car but I wont complain about it due to its great capacity. My husband does not need to keep refilling water when playing. So he loves it.

This was the second water bottle I got from this brand and It won't be the last. I love the colour, the wide mouth for adding ice, and the straw that allows me to drink without removing the lid.I can leave it in my car sitting in the sun the whole day and the drink is still cold with some ice at the end of the day. It works wonderfully. I always have my hands full going to and from work and I love the handle as it makes carrying so much easier. This bottle has helped me drink so much more water because it is very big and stylish and motivates me to drink water. Easy to clean and It's an indispensable companion to bring with you anywhere.The bottle is 100% worth the money! Buy it you won’t regret it! I am going to buy more for gifts.

Well - my teen son who has autism laid claim to this as soon as I opened it.It holds just under a litre at 960ml.Comes with a spare straw and the lid is a good solid sturdy plastic that doesn’t feel like it will break easily.The carry handle is the added bonus - be great for my son carrying round school.He’s been using it all day since it was delivered, and he says his drinks are staying nice and cold and the ice is staying frozen longer.Good size lid too to fit ice in for hotter days to keep drink colder for longer.My sons drinks don’t last 24 hours - so can’t test it’s effectiveness for keeping drinks hot, as he’s claimed it now.Would recommend - and now my daughter wants one for back to school.
