Blender good but do not make mistake
The blender is great worked no problem and have been using it on a daily basis, I have however put the plastic container in the dishwasher and now it's warped and I am unable to use.

Stopped working after 10 weeks
I learned Liquid must go in first Fruit must be chopped really small Can’t handle frozen fruit at all And it stopped working after 10 weeks of daily use - once a day. Hand held blender does the same job and I’ve had it years So all in all don’t bother

Great shake maker but it is not dish washer proof
I have used this blender every day for 6 months and have had 2 Magic Bullet blenders prior to purchasing the Salter. It is very well made but the main detractions are that it is not dish washer friendly and you are not supposed to immerse the blending blade unit in water. Notwithstanding these two issues it is a first class blender and a quick rinse of both the used parts gets them clean and ready to use again. One word of warning. Do not over fill it. Leave an air gap of at least 2 cms from the top otherwise, during the blending, the pressure builds up and forces liquid out of the connected section. Main selling points are. Powerful. Fast blending and to date, very reliable.
