I wanted to get a fan that I could position anywhere without having to worry about its proximity to a plug socket and potentially tripping over the long cord. I charged it up overnight and set it to speed 3 while I was in my home office - 4 hours later and the charge indicator has just dropped to 93%. Amazing.Overnight I have it on either speed 2 or 3 just to have a light breeze on those hot and sticky nights. It works wonders and it is insanely quiet. I've never had a fan that is so quiet even on some of the stronger settings, of which there are 6 speeds! There's also a handy timer button that you can use to automatically turn the fan off after 2, 4, 6, 8,10 or 12 hours. Perfect.It also does the usual oscillation if you want it to. In this case, the entire extending pole twists from the base.And the other amazing thing is that it folds right down to just the base and the fan section, making it infinitely easier to store away when not needed - unlike traditional pedestal fans. Oh, and it doesn't weigh very much either.The only possible downside I can think of is that the LCD could do with being dimmer, especially at night. I'll probably look to either applying a bit of black transparency over it or just simply placing something over it, to hide it at night.Update: it turns out you can hold down the timer button to turn off the display. Excellent.

don't often leave reviews but really impressed with this product. picked it up on a Prime day offer for circa £50 as didn't want to pay anymore than that for a fan. the multi function due to adjustable height is very handy. can use it as a desk fan during the day for work then also use it as a standing fan in the living room/bedroom on an evening. it's easily moved about aswell with it having a battery which just goes and goes. has 6 different speeds but haven't really used it on anything other than number 1 as that puts out a nice breeze without needing to push it up higher. noise wise it's not silent but it's barely audible on speed 1 if your doing anything else and I've had no problems using it on a night in the bedroom. it's much quieter than other fans I've used. the remote and timer is also a nice touch and both work well. overall very impressed and would recommend.

I love that it’s already assembled.It’s great how it folds down when not in use so takes up little space.It’s small but reasonable powerful and not too loud.

I am always dubious when a fan is advertised as "silent" because they never are. But this one really is, especially on the lower settings - in fact I keep forgetting it's on because it is so quiet.I deliberated for a while because of the cost but am absolutely chuffed I bought this - one of my best purchases this year.The rechargeable function is great so it can easily be moved from place to place without any hassle.Plenty of speed options and there's only a slight hum once you're up on the really high speeds. It kicks out plenty of power even on the lower speeds.The compact folding option is brilliant for just chucking it in the back of the car when you go away (I always like to take a fan with me for weekends away and some hotel fans can be very noisy if you need it on all night).If you're unsure about this - just do it - you won't regret it.

2nd one I have purchased. Super quiet but such a strong air flow even at level1.Can sleep with it on which I have never been able to do with the expensive ones.Fabulous value and remote is so useful Highly recommended.

I bought 2 of these fans one works the other died after two weeks.I bought them because they are portable and had good reviews.Well the plug fitting definitely isnt snug at all.It just bleeps and the blades do not go round.A total waste of money.I am disabled and do not have a local post office for returns, so I am out of pocket for a fan that isnt fit for purpose! I read the reviews carefully but I feel angry that it obviously wasnt quality controlled before it was sent out.I do not recommend this fan at all.You can get much better fans for a fraction of the price.Overpriced rubbish to be honest.

I was initially VERY happy with this product. 6 settings, basically silent, adjustable, light, portable.After about 3 weeks the oscilating function stopped working, there was a loud clicking noise where the unit was clearly trying to move but there was some sort of disconnection.After a further 2 weeks after running out of battery and being left to charge overnight, the unit did not charge at all and had no power, even when plugged in.Now the unit is essentially useless.I hope that my review gets seen as I do wish to get a replacement. As I said at the start, when it worked, it was a great fan.
