I love this machine, I think it’s a wonderful alternative to the other story machines and I love that this one actually shows it like a book to your little ones. My son loves picking out different characters and stories to put in, and he loves to listen to it in the bath, you can project it right onto the wall and it makes for such a fun experience and calm transition for nighttime too! It’s also so small and easy to put literally anywhere.

This was one of my most anticipated gifts for our 15 month old. I wasn’t sure how she would take it. She loves books. Short attention span for TV. She loves this projector! We put it in her little reading nook and she asks for it. Limited attention span but a great toy I know we will grow into. Definitely buy the carrying case for the little books and figurines.

This is one of the best toys I think we own. I bought this for my son for Christmas and we have loved curling up in bed and having it read some stories to us. The sound quality is pretty good battery life is great The picture is fun and colorful but it takes a bit of adjusting at first it might be a little confusing for little ones to get it going And to adjust the images clear enough to enjoy them also understand that when you put the book in it has to rewind first and so it sounds like it's working but nothing's happening so just know that The machine needs to reset every storybook put in This is a fantastic toy. Very entertaining educational. Definitely recommend an adult help out so they don't get frustrated

I bought the Little Tikes Story Dream Machine Starter Set for my nephew’s 3rd birthday, and it has quickly become his favorite toy. It also doubles as a nightlight, making it both fun and functional for bedtime. Setting it up was a breeze I followed the instructions, and within minutes, it was ready to go. The machine is super easy to use, even for young children. My nephew had no trouble figuring it out, and now he plays with it daily. One thing to note is that it only comes with three classic, old-timey stories. While they are timeless, I found that buying additional story cartridges separately gave my nephew more variety and kept things fresh. I would recommend purchasing more stories right from the start to keep your little one engaged longer. All in all this was the perfect gift for my nephew, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and educational toy for toddlers. It’s sure to be a favorite in any household!

This was my nearly 3 year old’s big present this year, and it was a hit! Pros: Cute design, engaging without being overstimulating, cheaper than a Tonibox, portable, and the projector feature makes it stand out from other story machines. Lots of book cartridge sets from popular franchises. Cons: Figures serve no purpose as far as I can tell, beyond decoration. Would be nice if they did something. Limited use, due to only being able to hold short, simple stories. Even the little golden books are abridged to fit. I’d say the sweet spot for this is age 3, and the appeal is going to be limited to 2-4. Once my child outgrows it, I’ll get a Yoto mini for real audiobooks. Difficult to use independently for intended demographic. The button to eject a book cartridge is impossible for most young children to operate independently. It is very stiff. So my child ends up playing the same book over and over. Also, the slots on the machine to home books not in use fits so tightly, I sometimes struggle to get them back out myself.

Purchased this for my goddaughters. They are 5 and 2. They absolutely love it. What a wonderful and creative idea. Their parents appreciate the gift too. The girls can now do their own story time. Very entertaining! Love the additional books you can purchase for variety.

Bought for my 2 year old daughter who loves to be read too. She loves using this as her bed time books before bed! Couldn’t be any easier to use! Lots of extra books you can buy to add to the collection!
