When I first received the item I connected it with the long lead but nothing happened. I sent an email to the supplier but after connecting it with the short lead it started to work with any lead. However, after about 6 months it just stopped working. The supplier agreed to replace it and even do a data recovery but I was reluctant to send the drive to Taiwan as it had a lot of personal information on it (I did try a data recovery myself but it was not possible) I thought that they would understand this but they just said it had to be sent to prove it wasn't working. After telling them that I would just have to take the loss I heard nothing else - no apology, nothing!Not impressed!

Very impressive design.Can just about fit in your pocket.Feels solid. Haven't tested it's waterproof or rugged design and don't exactly intend too but I'm confident it could withstand hard punishment (just look up any testing videos about it.) Considerable fast transferring files.I think it transferred 34 gigs in about 8 minutes.Can't really fault the product as of yet.The only 2 things I will note is that it is a Samsung hard drive which I'm aware people have with problems with in the past.The second thing that I would question is whether the device is waterproof when the usb plug is covered.Other than that very content with this product.

well made item seems very rugged. transfer speeds are good. only time will tell on reliability. would probably buy another when needed.

Haven't used yet as it's a gift. looks good and if it works as well as the reviewers say. then I will be more than happy.

A great hard drive, fast and great size for travelling, the lead is short but handy as it fits in drive
