I've been having major neck pain causing me headaches. It was really bad the other night. That night I was able to sleep with the pillow and I woke up pain free! Update: Daily use of this pillow started to create a lot of neck pain. I switched back to a regular pillow and swap them out when my neck hurts. I wouldn't get rid of your old pillow if you get this. I think it's too tall for my short neck and that's why it hurts after too many nights in a row.I've used this pillow for a little over 2 weeks now, and I have to say it's helped me a lot. I don't wake up with neck pain, and the numbness in my hands has been greatly reduced. It hasn't reduced snoring.I wish it were longer. It slips out of my satin pillowcase very easily, and the wings or whatever for your arms seem too close to my head/not far enough out for raised arms.The hump in the back seems kind of useless to me. My head doesn't touch it and I'm not sure why it's so rounded. I usually sleep on my back or side, so maybe it's for stomach sleepers. LOL My cat rolls off of it, so he can't sleep on my head anymore, though he keeps trying. 🙄 I would recommend getting this one if you're on a budget. If you have the money, get a longer one.Oh, and the initial smell was terrible. It took 2 weeks solid to air out. Washing the cover did not help. Yuck. It is better now.

Helped my shoulder and neck pain

I originally bought this pillow because I was trying to train myself to become a back sleeper instead of a tummy sleeper. Based on the high reviews, it seemed like it would be a good fit. On the first night, it seemed like this was definitely going to be a good fit, and I was excited to start my better sleep journey. Now, I am not an unusually small human woman (5'4", average weight), but this pillow just felt too big for me. My neck didn't feel like it was at a good, natural position. I tried it a few more nights and concluded it was indeed a bad fit for my needs.My husband tried it after that, thinking it would be a good fit for him, and I was thinking it would help him stop snoring. Which it did, but he said he thought it was a better fit for someone who only sleeps on their back, and not for someone who changes from back to side sleeping like he does.Overall, we both didn't like that it was a pretty awkward pillow that didn't allow for much position flexibility. The other kind of weird and gross thing was that from the very first night of using it, the pillow case pilled and looked really ragged within a few days. You might think, "NBD! Just put another pillowcase on it!" Not so easy, as the shape of the pillow does not allow for a standard pillow case--you'd have to custom make one. Anyway, disappointed that it wasn't right for us, but it does seem well made and clearly works for many people.
