Watch "Antiques Roadshow" some time and you'll get an idea of what a genuine Tiffany lamp will go for (tens of thousands). These plastic shade replicas carry off the classic themes Tiffany created and do it well. They are not shoddily made, they cast a beautiful light and they are quite affordable. We have three of these "Mission" style lamps, one floor and two table. They go well with our Southwestern decor and we didn't break the bank to be able to afford them. It's true that we sent even more money to China and contributed to the travel of yet another container ship, but no one in the U.S. is making them so no choice in that matter. Bottom line, if you like the Tiffany Mission style, or any of the other Tiffany designs, these well made lamps are an affordable answer.

It's a beautiful, was easy peasy to assemble and is worth more to me than the very reasonable purchase price. Looks great with my new Mission recliner. Looks like it should have cost about $300.

We have two lamps like this with different shades and bases, but otherwise very similar. The look great, and for the price, they are fantastic. We also found a table lamp that is very similar with an even nicer shade at a consignment store, so now we have three pieces that all fit nicely with our numerous other mission style furnishings. Don't get your hopes up, however - for this kind of price you can't hope to get a "real" Tiffany lamp or even one made with the same kinds of materials and techniques. Some reviews say the shades are made up of plastic; we tapped on them a little and could not really tell (they seem like glass, but they could be heavy plastic that is a lot like glass), but even if they are plastic they look really good. The dual light fixtures work really well with the LED bulbs we used, so we have a lot of choices on room lighting (1-4 bulbs on), without using much electricity, creating any heat or having to worry about replacing incandescent or toxic fluorescent bulbs. When we are not at home, we can leave a bulb on too.

When this lamp arrived, the shade was broken in the corner. Although we thought this indicated the shade was made of glass, it still seemed to feel very much like cheap plastic. The lead piping around the stained glass also seemed to be made of something definitely not metallic, either plastic or rubber. The base was very heavy and seemed to be quality, but the shade looked cheap. We actually didn't mind that it arrived broken, because it made it easier to send it back and get the refund, instead of having to hem and haw about if we wanted to keep a lamp with a cheap shade that cost over $100. It was very easy and convenient to return, and I was refunded the entire price, including shipping (there was no charge for return shipping).On a side note, the lamp was packaged in a thin cardboard box with Styrofoam inserts. There didn't seem to be much padding, considering the breakable lampshade inside, and the Styrofoam was the kind that disintegrated into a million minuscule white balls that clung to everything with static. It took a few different times sweeping and vacuuming to get them all up, and even then I'd find a stray white ball here and there. We don't have pets, but if you do, you might want to be careful about how you open the package because the Styrofoam gets everywhere.

Believe the "glass" panels are plastic. In general the lamp looks a bit cheaper than I was expecting.

I am using this lamp in my living room to supplement the lighting a bit, and it's lovely. Assembly was simple and very easy. Would buy from this seller again.

The picture does not do this Tiffany lamp justice. It is easy to assemble. Each pane of glass has unique characteristics. The light cast from the lamp is soft and lovely, yet one can still read by its light. I am beyond pleased.

Had this a year now and it is great - looks like the real thing. Very durable gives off a warm glow - a pull for each light so you can decide how much light you want. High quality. Highly recommended
