These are a scam
It’s impossible to correct color blindness of any degree these. You cannot gain access to color without those color receptors working or exerting. So if you are colorblind to green you cannot see green. Ever. All these glasses do is change the value of the colors you do see . Which means if some get brighter then others will get dimmer. So anyone claiming that they see new color is either bold face lying or completely ignorant to their experience they are having.

Helpful for some, might not work for all.
This colorblind glasses is helpful for some people and others might not experience the same level of improvement. Studies show that more men than women have some form of color vision deficiency and there are many different types and degree of colorblindness, and the most common type is red-green color blindness. Color blind glasses usually works by filtering out certain wavelength of light that cause confusion in people with color blindness. By filtering out certain wavelength, the glasses could enhance the color contrast that make it much easier for people with color blindness to distinguish between different colors. So, depend on what type of colorblindness and the severity, some people may see significant color vision improvement with this glasses, while others may not see any improvement at all. This colorblind glasses is well-made and of good quality. The style is classic. It does not has a spring hinges but the metal frame is flexible enough and hence it is comfortable to wear. This glasses makes everything look pretty red. I tested it with few friends known to have colorblindness. Some of them did not found this glasses useful but few others were very surprised to be able to read the numbers and patterns appeared on those color blind test charts, for the first time. Without this glasses, they couldn't see those numbers at all. This glasses altered the color contrasts for them to see the otherwise hidden numbers. But, this glasses also altered other colors as well. So, for these friends, this glasses is very helpful but they couldn't leave the glasses on the whole time as it messed up the other colors at the same time. So, they would just momentarily put this glasses on just to check out the difference in their color vision and see what colors they have missed in their vision. It is important to understand that this color blind glasses do not cure color blindness. It only help some people with color blindness to see color contrast better and accurately.

This is not a daily driver of glasses
I got this for my best friend who has trouble with colors. First off the glasses are very red tinted. If you look at a lot of the other classes in this category of the market, either have a bluish or gray lens. Wearing them all the time gives everything that pinkish reddish color and isn’t really practical for every day all day use. What makes these really handy as he does a lot of projects he’s worked on cars his whole life it is always avoided electrical work as much as possible anything that involves wiring he struggled Because he was unable to identify and match up the right color wires. These glasses are perfect for small projects like this. Where are you? Just need something to differentiate colors not something that he wants to wear all the time at $129 there about half to a third of the cost of many other classes so he can save some money and still just use the glasses when he really needs to be able to quickly differentiate colors

it help
When held at an angle, the glasses appear as shown in the photos. When not at that angle, they are simply pure red lenses, and that is exactly what they are. It only helps to filter some colors so that others stand out more clearly; it does not restore any color. They state in the paperwork that the colorblind person can wear them more and more to basically train themselves to distinguish between colors, which is true, but you can do that without these glasses as well, as my family member already did, but they claim that these make it much more clear and distinguishable.

They work, but with some deficits - VERY RED
I had been contemplating buying a pair of glasses similar to these for my father-in-law who is colorblind but I wanted to make sure that they were not completely bogus. The claims on the listing that they will "restore your lost color" IS VERY BOGUS. I'll just tell you now that no glasses can do that. What these fundamentally do is enhance the contrast between colors that people with certain color vision deficits cannot see. In any case, when I was offered this brand as a complimentary sample I jumped at the chance to review them. I have two coworkers who are colorblind (strong protan) and so I had them try them to see if they worked. Both coworkers were very impressed by how well they were able to see the contrast in the typical color blind tests which they were completely unable to see without the glasses but they both complained about the degree to which the glasses altered every other color as well. To my eyes, these glasses are VERY RED. And I am not sure anyone would be able to wear these for any length of time and be satisfied with that trade off. I think that these seem almost purpose built to see contrast in circumstances where it is necessary and not for use in everyday situations. Would I recommend them? If you or a friend are colorblind then they're sort of a neat parlor trick, but beyond that? My colleagues couldn't think of any circumstances when they would use them. At the current list price of around $120, is it worth it? Probably not.
