I use this dummy battery for my Sony a7iii and it works like a charm. I use my a7iii as a webcam while I'm on discord. The cable does have to bend a bit in order for it to go through the cable door in the original camera. other than that it works fantastic. My camera is on for long gaming periods from 2-4 hours. the brick doesnt weigh much but does a great job for the quality.

We finally have the dummy battery solution that Sony never made, and it works flawlessly. It also looks great, feels solid, and has plenty long cables. It's the sort of well-thought-out, high-quality product we've come to expect from SmallRig. My a6600 is happy with it, and I am too.

Works just as advertised, however, you'll get the battery warning because it's not an official Sony product, but it works great, and I don't think it will ever be a risk for my ZVE1.
