This is definitely a cloth like mat that goes under your appliances. I thought it was going to be a bit thicker and silicone, but it looks kind of like a nylon placemat. I have it underneath my toaster oven on the counter. Seems to be working for that, but I’d be scared to use anything hotter on it. It also bunches up/wrinkles somewhat easily, and dirt and crumbs take a bit to get clean from the surface. It’s just a different material than expected. I’ll keep looking for something a bit more versatile.
