I recently bought a new Epson Ecotank printer for printing my own sublimation work to transfer onto mugs, tumblers, and coasters. Even though I don't do puzzles, I was thinking about making my own puzzle too. So I bought the Epson printer to convert it into a sublimation printer. I acquired 4 sets of ink from Amazon and decided to mix and match the colors so I can test each brand out. This Koala set provided the magenta. I had never used an Ecotank printer before but filling the tanks the first time with my sublimation ink was super easy. This size refill container has almost enough ink to fill my tanks twice from empty. I did a test print to see how the colors would look prior to printing my first sublimation project, and everything looked fine. I printed a design using a photo and some multicolored text to transfer onto a tumbler for my wife. The magenta color from Koala looked good. It blended just fine with the colors from other brands, and my final transfer onto the tumbler looked good. I'm still learning about sublimation printing but overall, the actual design print was just fine. Colors were very good. Its a nice set with good color. And compared to name brands, the Koala inks are a great value. Quality and value all in one is hard to come by these days.

I converted an Epson ET-2800 for sublimation and have been using Tounker's brand ink since setup and it is great ink... but I didn't know before getting into sublimation that the black ink runs out MUCH faster than th colors. Tounker's does not offer black ink on its own, and after messaging with customer service I know that they have no intention of offering it in the future... which means I need to either switch brands or accept the fact that I will be buying multipacks just for the black ink on a regular basis. I decided to switch and chose this brand because they DO offer black ink on its own. My ink arrived clean and undamaged- there were no spills and the packaging was intact. I have printer cleaner for cleaning my tanks out when it is time to switch because mixing ink brands is not recommended by any of the websites I have been on regarding sublimation. I will make the switch as soon as I run out of black ink with my current brand and I will update my review with how it performs. The color and consistency of the ink in the bottles is identical to what I have been using.
