Works as advertised.
Did most of the work myself. Had to drill through 3 layers of steel to widen opening to fit key size. Took block plate to a welding shop. Can't drill it. Had to torch. (You may already have a 3/4 inch opening where your existing lock is. Won't have the drill hassle if do.) Once all that was done, simple to replace. All provided screws fit perfectly. Be sure to get the correct swing. The quality of the parts is better than what I replaced. Chrome keypad is solid. My old one was plastic. It's nice to have a mechanical key backup, rather than a purely electronic lock.

Had to modify, then died 4 months later
Had to do some modification to make it work. Nothing terrible. Then when installed the battery tray wouldn't stay in. Used some Velcro to hold it. Worked fine for 4 months. Then one day just stopped. Tried new battery. But got nuthin no keypad response. Checked wires no issues. Just dead. Now I have to get another one. Gonna research more and try to find a better brand.

Pretty easy to install
Only thing is you need to buy the opposite of what you have that’s what I noticed I have a right swing but I had to buy the left swing because you need to flip it so the key hole is facing out so you can you put the key through the hole of the door to the front of the lock body. And I needed to drill the hole a little bigger which was really easy to do. As of right now I give it 5 stars. I have the Cabelas 24 gun safe technically made by liberty and they use the securam locking device so it was an easy swap. I will say the securam lock seems more heavy duty and built with better metal compared to this one but hey for 68 bucks can’t go wrong and the whole reason I wanted this was for the key backup cause if an emp happens I don’t want to take a chance. Really I don’t want to take a chance period with just having it be only electric dial. I’m surprised securam didn’t design just like this one.

Perfect! The swing bolt is very reversible thanks to info from prior reviewer
My old keypad would not take the only code I had any more. Lucky I had the safe open when this happened so I could replace it with this one. Thank you to the reviewer that said he was able to get this to work and that the swing bolt is reversible. I opened it up and very easy to flip the bolt and attach the spring to the other side. I guess I am lucky my safe has a large whole already where the wire goes thru from the keypad to the lock so the key fits fine into the lock key whole. I love the idea I have a key to open if if the keypad fails like my prior one did and no code would open it. I only bought this due to another review that said the bolt was reversible. They need to add that in the description.

Use left swing bolt for a right swing bolt safe
If your safe is a right swing bolt order the left swing bolt to replace original. Other than that it bolts right up and works great.

Fits exact on my safe ! Had to reverse flipper and drill hole bigger for key
Fit exact on my safe . My safe is originally made in China and known for pad going out so no loss on this one being made in China . The flipper is reversible but you need to be mechanicallyInclined. I had to flip it on my safe . Also you need a pretty large hole drilled in the door for the key . A very good drill bit will do it . If you don’t care about the key you can leave a small hole . Works as good as I could hope for

Worst instructions ever
I must have received different instructions than the earlier reviewers who talk about the instructions being easy, because the printed word doc that I received is a candidate for the most non sensical instructions EVER. Don’t take my word for it - see for yourself, I posted a picture of said “instructions”.It’s just so bad. So bad.
