Ah plastic! It gets a lot of negative press. But in actual fact it is extremely useful. Shoes, Corrective Lenses, probably 50% of anything you have touched today is made from or contains plastic. And its not a bad material. Many environmental laws require manufacturers to be extremely compliant with recycling and disposal of plastic waste. And yet, we keep seeing pictures of oceans filled with plastic, and snappy the sea turtle with his head caught in a six pack. Plastic is just the symptom, it is humans who are the problem. Unfortunately it hasnt stopped the inevitable drive for replacing essential plastic items with inferior alternatives. A perfect example of this is the paper straw, an item that basically dissolves in liquid, and can only actually be recycled in isolation with no other material even though there is no facility to segregate paper straws in the commercial or domestic recycling stream. Some things just need to be plastic, and a food bag is one of those things. In the current economy it is so important to make food last as long as possible, so having an effective storage device that seals well is essential. These bags were the most reasonably priced for the quantity and variety. They each have a double ziplock seal that is very robust. The boxes they arrive in do actually issue a single bag at a time by simply pulling the next one through, which makes storing them a breeze. The different sizes are great for different culinary needs, the medium bag easily holds a decent sized pack of ham which is perfect for keeping meat fresh for lunches. I have even used the larger ones to store extra pasta sauce and cooked mince for freezing, and they have not failed me yet (obviously wait for the food to cool down a little before decanting into the bag!). I usually use tupperware for batch cooking but they tend to take up a lot more freezer space whereas these bags only take up the space of the actual food inside. Overall, very impressed with my purchase and i need look no further when it comes to buying more.

Good quality robust , nice for food storage , a little bit hard to open first time around good sizes the seal is great no leaking

Great quality bags, leakproof and re usable. The mixed sizes are great for anything that you may need to keep airtight. The zip lock works really well and is easy to use. the bags are a great thickness too.

Brilliant product and you get a mixture of different sized bags with the pack i chose.

These bags are a decent quality but the sizes are weird. Huge big bag but other two are really small (both smaller than a sandwich bag). Would have given 4 stars but for this.
