Not light, not heavy. Performs well. Dust bag likes to fall of the exhaust tube. Paper perforator works well, and you need to use it or the dust collection doesn't work. The purple 3M paper lasts longer than a battery but the large One+ batteries ran for 40min of work, takes me about 70min to recharge one, so for continuous use you'll need multiple charged batteries.

This sander works really well - as good or better than the corded craftsman I have. I use a small Ryobi battery which lasts longer than my hand and arm get tired and I get bored. So the sander does vibrate while sanding (how could it not?), but it's not terrible. Sandpaper is easy to load onto the sander. They give you a hole punch so you can use generic sandpaper and still have the holes needed for dust collection. The dust collection works surprisingly well, although the dust collector is easy to accidentally knock off the sander. All in all, I'm happy with this sander and recommend it - especially if you're into the Ryobi battery system anyway with other tools.

Purchased as a gift for another. Ryobi is an excellent product with high quality items. User was very pleased with the product and reported that it works great.

The sander works very well. I did not give it 5 stars because the dust bag falls off pretty easily and the sander is loud and dust doesn't all collect in the bag. But it is a great tool to have around if you don't want to be attached to a cord.

Work good

I use this to sand down the seats on my sailboat before I revarnish them. It’s just about the right size tool for the job and it gets into the corners. You do have to have the right size sandpaper.

As in the title, plenty of power but the sheet clamps don’t seem to hold the sheets in place very well. I’ve used palm sanders from other manufacturers without this problem so I know it’s not me. No matter how much care I take in attaching the sandpaper, it starts working its way off center of the platen every time I use it.

This sander has excellent power, is a little on the heavy side with battery attached. Depends on your amp hour battery size. I live on a well water supply, so use it to clean my shower, works very well. I'm happy with the purchase price as well.
