Great disguised mobility aid
So this is a very good umbrella. It opens up smoothly and easily with the press of a button. It closes easier than most umbrellas I have tried. It does not take a lot of effort to pull the center back down to lock into place. And it is also smoother than most to wrap it back up. The whole thing is much lighter than other umbrellas of the same size. The reason I got this is that I need help with stability. I don't look like I need a cane and very often I don't. But when I occasionally do need some assistance to stay stable and upright, having some kind of support makes things a lot easier. The design of this umbrella accomplishes that purpose with subtlety and style. I love it. I can also use it as a sun shade or to keep rain off. I do often need to make sure I am in the shade so this is dual purpose. It is a VERY useful item for me.I am 5'4" and this handle is slightly higher than the ideal cane height but it still works fine for me.I should clarify that this would work great for someone who just wants an umbrella that works well and that they can also hook on their arm. But in my case it accomplishes a lot more than that.I wouldn't trust this to actually hold me up if I needed to put a lot of weight on it. It is still primarily an umbrella. But as a gentle stabilizer it is awesome. And because it is so light - lighter than my canes - it is less fatiguing to carry it around.I love having this as an option for brief walks or little errands. It is rare to find a tool that does two jobs well. But this does.I will have to see how this holds up over time. It is so light it is hard to imagine it being very tough. Only time will tell. I will update my review if it is less sturdy than advertised. But as for right now I wholeheartedly give this five stars!

Constructed Strong
The media could not be loaded. This umbrella is really something to talk about. When you're caught in a storm, or a torrential down pour, your #1 priority is to have a dependable umbrella. This umbrella can withstand both. Once I opened it the first thing was to feel the inner stems. I found that yes it is a very strong fiberglass, connected to strongly shaped metal. Both meet and join into the center so sturdily. I pressed the button and it opened in 1 second. You could hear it click and hear the solid structure as it takes shape opening. The fact it was tested in a wind tunnel assures me that it won't be taken out my hands so easily as with cheaper umbrellas. I've tested it out in the rain, it performed very well. It isn't as big as I wish it could be, but it does provide full protection for 1 person. 2 people can fit under the umbrella but might catch rain on the shoulders facing the rain. So it's slightly uncomfortable for 2. Perfect for 1. Full protection all around. I'm waiting for a rainy, very windy day to test it against the wind. I can certainly update this review once that day comes. For now I find it to be a 5 star product. Has provided dryness in very heavy rain. Even my sneakers, which kick up water in the rain, stood slightly dryer than usual. This is a must have umbrella, at a generous price.

A good quality umbrella for your next stormy season
With the rainy season and windy conditions fast approaching, I acquired the Knirps A.760 Stick Automatic Auto Open Rain umbrella. I did learn a few things about umbrellas and umbrella parts in my review of this Knirps brand. The things I like about this umbrella are:Sturdy Frame - It is made of a combination of steel and fiberglass material and not some thin aluminum, plastic, or flimsy sheet metal. The strength of the supporting framework is visually impressive, with 8 ribs that hold the canopy in place. I am only an amateur umbrella user; however, this is one of the sturdiest umbrellas I can remember using in my seven decades living on planet Earth. The vendor says its umbrella has been wind tunnel tested and can withstand wind speeds up to 120 km/h or nearly 75mph. That’s impressive, and I believe it.The curved handle – I prefer a curved J-shaped handle over a straight handle. I can hang it on my arm while I walk about. It also fits more comfortably in my hand and is easier to hang on to in the rain. I can also hang the umbrella to dry when I come in out of the rain.Fast auto open - push the button, and it opens in milliseconds. There was nothing I disliked about this umbrella, including the price point. I’m impressed with the quality of the construction and recommend it for your next stormy season.

Quality seems very good. Very sturdy and easy to use.
Ordered this to keep on the hall tree for our walks or travel.Out of the box, the umbrella seemed like it had great quality material and construction. It was easy to figure out how to pop it open to use and fold it back on itself. We just had a chance to use it recently with the weather changing and it worked great. It's a large size umbrella, so I don't leave it in the car, but it works great for walks with two people. No issue with water or light winds. The handle, shaft, and bottom stem end seem very sturdy. I wouldn't try to use the umbrella as a walking stick, when closed, since this isn't what it is made for. If you apply any weight, the shaft will flex. The fabric and ribs look very nice. It is definitely quite a bit lighter than I expected, but very strong with a nice pop-open that feels solid. The button itself is bright red and easy to see and use. It's easy to shed off the water and put away. We keep it on our hall tree to grab and go.This is probably one of the nicer and simpler umbrellas we've had in both looks and quality of materials. If we need another umbrella in the future, I would definitely order one of these again.
