Should of got one sooner,excellent bit of kit, just keeps on sharpening when using to sharpen wood turning chisels keep a cup of water to keep them cool. Or if you got a variable speed grinder use at the appropriate speed. Slower the better they say. Worth the price, easy to use.

Sharpens wood turning chisel to very good finish

I needed a diamond wheel to sharpen some of my solid carbide drills, and the normal grinding wheels on a bench grinder just wear away without sharpening them. Most of the tool suppliers had them at ridiculous cost, and then I found this. I took a chance and honestly thought if it lasts me long enough to sharpen some of my drills then it’s worth it. Arrived hyper fast, even to the IOM, and it’s heavy, not a cheap weak made thing. Fits onto the bench grinder perfectly, and seems to be perfectly balanced. I’ve sharpened about 30 of my solid carbide drills so far, they have sharpened really well, no blueing, overheating or chipping. And the wheel seems untouched! Truly amazed at the price, and the effectiveness of this wheel. I’m going to buy another as these are a steal!

Easy to fit to the bench grinder, all my chisels and all the kitchen knives are now sharp.

This may be a game changer for me as a wood turner. I was using a regular sharpening wheel until I saw these in a YouTube tutorial. I get a much sharper edge on my chisels. I wouldn’t use it for grinding or reshaping but for sharpening it is very good.

I use this wheel for sharpening my woodturning tools and it really does work a treat. Very impressed with it.
