These colors are great, and they are bright and vibrant. I thought at first there wasn’t much gouache in a cup but the cups are really deep and I’ve realized I don’t have to use a lot of paint for the color and consistency I’m trying to achieve. They are fun, easy, and consistency is great. Price is great as well. I was pleasantly surprised, especially not wanting to spend a lot on something i didn’t know if it was going to be good. Cute and easy case. Gave me a lot of inspiration. I would say they are above student quality. A great product for the price! I love them.

Great set! Came sealed, paint looked to be in good condition. I have been using it for a fee months now. Generally pretty easy to care for if you just spray it with water regularly and make sure to close it when not used. Very portable, great colors, easy to reactivate when dried, and great blendability. Would highly recommend!

Having a blast using this "jelly gouache" set - lots of fun! Colors mix nicely on the palette and you only have to maintain a certain consistency for them to work properly - not too "dry" or too "wet" - otherwise they are either troublesome to spread or too thin to deliver the color you want (too much water they become watercolor-like, but not as vibrant). But when used as intended, these Himi gouache sets are very nice - Upkeep is required (periodically spritzing the paint pots w/water and mixing the paints with a stir tool so they don't dry out or separate from their binder (I use an EXEART Electric Pigment stirrer - perfect for the task) that keeps them viable.

I already own high quality gouache that comes in tubes, but I wanted something that was really easy to use (and clean up) so I could paint more often! No use in having fancy materials if you don’t use them, right? So I ordered this cute little set. Pros: good color range, decent brushes, cute + portable little box. Cons: kinda hard to open the little cups; colors are streaky; not really intended to be fully opaque; so far I’ve kept the seal on the cups to prevent them from drying out but that makes it harder to use them and see what colors are where (though there is an included “map” of where the colors are). In my experience so far, using Canson multimedia paper and the included brushes, the gouache works best thinned out more like a watercolor, though the effect is not as transparent and it doesn’t give a clean wash of color. It’s fun having all these colors, and this set is making it easy for me to paint in my art journal daily bc it’s portable and easy to clean up. Would I use these for a project I cared about? No, but as a busy mom trying to fit in time for creativity, this set does the trick!

Originally, we bought tubes of gouache paint but then we bought this set. It is great and so much easier to use. My son and all his classmates love this for art class.

La mejor compra de mi año, solo debes usar agua destilada y listo. Yo usaba acuarela pero desde que llegaron estos gouaches ya no me siento cómoda con la acuarela. Es mi material de arte favorito

Fantastic paint the quality and colour are just fantastic. This was given to my daughter as a Christmas gift as she is an artist and she absolutely loves the colour and the quality of the paint I would say for beginners andprofessional artists
