Bought this for my Dino loving 3 yo grandson. He likes it so much, he carried it around for days. The colors are vibrant, the size of the Dino was just right. Would recommend.

My toddler apparently already has this same dinosaur. I'm guessing all the manufacturers use the same mold. The color is different. Dino stands on his own, and the mouth opens and closes.

The grey dinosaur pictured is the one I purchased here. I have presented it next to a green velociraptor I already owned that appears to use a very similar mold, because as a dinosaur collector, I think the comparison speaks for itself and would be valuable to other potential purchasers.I wanted to like this dinosaur SO badly. I'll admit I recognized the mold the moment I saw it -- I'm a big fan of toy dinosaurs. I collect a lot of them, especially velociraptor-theropod types. I would not recommend this one.His legs are bent so he doesn't stand up very well, his paint quality doesn't look great around the eye details in particular, his jaw hinge is loose and fragile feeling, and the plastic itself feels cheaper and lighter in a way that I don't love. Also, the other dinosaur's arms and mouth move, and this one's arms do not move. Even if you're getting this for a small child, there are better velociraptors and you should get those.He gets two stars because he is better than like, your average off-brand dinosaur toy, but not by a lot. I think your average kid would be happy with him, but only if they hadn't seen the vastly better toys out there.I've named him Commander Slate, as a nod to his blue-gray coloring and because I hope a powerful name will help him overcome his weaknesses.
