Perfect, great quality and great value
I recently took up Cantonese and Shanhainese cooking and having spent a dizzying amount of money on ingredients, sauces, rice wine etc etc, and equipment, I was looking for the perfect laidle for wok cooking and I saw this one and it is absolutely fantastic. So strong and sturdy, reassuringly heavy and really well made, and at this price its an unbelievable bargain. Get yourself one, you won't regret it. This is an old family business and that deserves to be supported, so I was and am VERY HAPPY.

Quality as well as quantity
This is my 3rd time buying a wok ladel and as they say 3rd time lucky! I'm am extremely pleased by the build quality of this little gem. It's perfect in every aspect from the weight to the edges being smooth and the shine well you can see you face in it lol. I will be purchasing the shovel version very soon also. Please guys don't waist your time looking everywhere to find the perfect wok utensils because it's right here and for the price you won't find better

Poor quality the wooden bit on the handle seems to come off.but u can slamm it back in .does the job for a while

Well made, just... big!
No complaints about the build quality, although I suspect the wooden handle might work itself loose over time. Nothing a bit of decent glue wouldn't fix. My only problem with this ladle is that it's big... very big! I wanted to use it for cooking food in my wok, but it's too big and heavy for that, unfortunately.So, if you're looking for a good quality LARGE ladle at a decent price, look no further.

Some Assembly Required!
It’s a shiny ladle! therefore my expectations were quite simple, however the wooden handle came off.. I was going to return it, but it might be easier to get some glue .

A great ladle for serious Chinese cooking
I use a big wok on my firepit. You need big tools so not to get singed!This is just a good, Chinese ladle. Nice and solid and has already had a good workout.By the way - cooking Chinese food over wood is wonderful. Not only is it lovely and hot with the flames wrapping around the wok, but the food gets a beautiful smoky flavour. Fun too!
