The first thing that I opened when I opened the product was that there were dirty marks all over the white veneer/covering (inside/underneath the cellophane wrapping). I had to scrub them thoroughly before I even considered putting the unit on my wall. I thought that this may have just been that one particular shelf, however, I found the second shelf to be exactly the same. So, I would have to put this down to poor quality control (manufacturer).The fixings are poor quality. Cheap screws (Some screw heads poorly manufactured and do not allow the head of the screwdriver to fully penetrate the void) and useless wall plugs, I decided to use my own instead. The bracket sags (5-10mm) at the slightest of weight application (despite what the instructions state).The finish to the edges isn't great either, I had to tidy them up with a sharp blade.

The shelves are hollow so do not fit tightly on the fixing bracket. I dispensed with the bracket and fitted batons to the wall. Finish is not great so I painted the shelves. Corners are sharp edged and needed sanding down.All in all, fairly low quality shelves but I couldn't find any others in this size so had to use them.

The actual shelves are OK but the bits to attach them to the wall are not. My family are very practical but it took 40 minutes to put up 2. I needed the shelves straight away or I would have returned them. The 'floating' bit doesn't work and they need a baton as the holes and fixtures don't line up and aren't long enough to support the shelves and are only on 1 side. I have very lightweight items on them but they are already sloping so will need a small baton for support. Disappointed and wish I had paid more for better quality.

Lovely shelves, overall very happy with these. They are nice quality and easy to install. The only negative with these shelves is they are a little unsturdy as they fix to the wall only on one side. A little bracket to support the other side would have been a nice option but these are easy to find on their own I suppose. Definitely wouldn't let it deter me from buying again as they are great for the price. Thanks!

I regret being cheap and buying these. They’re flimsy and won’t hold anything and still sit and 90 degreees. I’ve had to install some right angle clips underneather to provide support as such I’ve now sacrificed the floating look I was initially going for. Also the finishing on them is poor, it’s like a primer finish. I will have to paint mine some time soon for it to look better. The screws provided are cheap! Screw them in and the head will be mangled good luck getting them out again. Pay an extra £20 more to get the better ones!!!! Lesson learnt.

Shelves are fun to display things, especially in corners. Spice up your corner with one of these corner shelved by storing tins of mixed bean salads, or a framed postcard that you bought yourself, but you tell people that George Clooney sent it to you, but you can't show them because it's old and in a frame. Also, it's in a fine shelving unit

Good shelves, and hold my daughte knick-knacks in her room.Our house is one of odd angles so they aren't a snug fit but the are fine as they have bits on so the odd angles on our house doesn't show!As for putting them up hubby wasn't swearing so I assume they've easy!

A simple shelf. I would expect holding screws to line up with the holes in the shelf to hold the shelf.Silly me, the screws miss the holes entirely so do nothing.
