As an elderly person concerned about bone health, I ordered Nutricost Strontium. However, after doing research and discussing it with my doctor I have decided not to take it. This is nothing against the manufacturer as the Strontium that I received was safely packaged, sealed, and had a good expiration date. However, my doctor informed me that taking strontium supplements for any period of time is likely to make future bone density tests inaccurate. Strontium may remain in the bones for as long as 7-10 years after the last dose. PLEASE do your research and speak with your doctor before taking any kind of supplements.

Great to help with bone density. Seems to also lift my mood. Take 2 hours before or after a calcium-rich meal or supplement.

Good quality product

I have read about Strontium about 15 years ago but never used it because most brands have a lot of fillers… I chose this brand because they have the least amount of fillers and no side effects like some of the pharmaceutical products. I asked my doctor about this and he was very receptive about the info on Strontium and said try it and see it works..I have tried some of the pharma drugs and unfortunately, the side effects were awful as listed on their own information page, so give this a try if your are having problems with the brand drug…
