great story! I is interesting because it was far ahead of its time . it compares well with the current dystopian novels because it is depressing. it is lifted by being quite funny when all the friends do not believe the event was real.

Quick read for sci-fi fansH G Wells is excellent. Classic sci-fi story thatis very entertaining but much too short!

Love this story and loved the original film
