21 Virages Winter MTB Cycling Gloves

I ride to work all year round so need a pair of Winter gloves to last the season. I usually buy the Altura winter gloves so went for a change of brand.Already own a 21 Virages jacket so have heard of them before.The gloves are warm but only around the freezing point, any lower and my hands were getting cold. Hands tend not to warm up very easily as they're not really involved in the cycling process.The gloves are also too warm about 8/9C so they do have quite a narrow band of comfortable operating temperature.They fit well and look like they are put together with quality in mind. Can't comment on the longevity as I've only been using them a few months. They seem to be holding up well with no wear on the grips pads - this is often the problem on MTB as handlebar grips are abrasive and can wear through gloves pretty quickly.Hoping they will last a few Winters.

21 Virages was a brand I became aware of last year when I bought their winter cycling socks, with which I was very impressed.Therefore, though it is currently the middle of the summr here in the UK, I decided to buy these for future use.I am impressed with the quality and fit and they seem to be warm and water resistant, so I will report back when then winter riding season starts.My initial impressions are very good.

These were given to someone as a present and reportedly served them very well during the winter, even in heavy snow!
