It’s good to have a nice pair of sunglasses again!
When I was younger, and had a little bit of cash to throw around, I bought myself a pair of a very expensive name brand sunglasses. At the time, they probably cost me a half week’s wages. I lost or broke those MANY years ago and have been settling for “el cheapo” sunglasses ever since. The name brand sunglasses were nice, but I just couldn’t bring myself to shell out that kind of money for another pair like that again. When these sunglasses came available, I was quick to jump on them! Are people going to be thinking “OOoooo… he’s wearing Olidon’s” Probably not! (BTW… Olidon is the brand name of these sunglasses!) There’s no fancy logo indicating who they’re made by. But your eyes are going to thank you regardless! The sunglasses arrived in a carrying case that will be nice to have and store them in when not in use. The case is not indestructible, but will do nicely. The frame front is made of a black, plastic material and comes in a matte finish. The temples (arms) are also made of plastic but are in a deep silver or dark gray color. The only hint of any sort of decoration is a small rectangle of shiny silver on the outside, front end of the temples. My guess is that this small piece of metal is meant more for structure dealing with the hinge than it is for decoration. I would consider the sunglasses to be aviator style, but I’m not positive that is the correct “fashion term” or not?!?!?The frames are very lightweight, but don’t feel like they’re going to break after wearing them a few times. They feel like they’re going to be able to handle the constant putting on and taking off processes. There isn’t much “give” in the frames, but just enough to make them easy to slide on and off. The tips of the temples have a black pad inset that gives them a slight amount of grip as well as a slight amount of padding. The bridge area fits nicely on my nose… but, of course, we’re all made differently. They feel quite comfortable and have not been irritating at all to wear. I’ve had sunglasses before that got to be more and more uncomfortable the longer I wore them. These haven’t proven to be that way. The matte finish is not smooth and slick like other sunglasses and I think the slight texture helps them stay in place on my nose. The lenses are a dark green in color. They are polarized and do a good job of keeping the glare down. They are made of some sort of plastic (excuse me… Acetate, according to the description). All in all, I think these are going to make a wonderful pair of sunglasses for me! I’m old enough that I’ve gotten past the need of having a fancy logo showing what brand I’m wearing. Give me these Olidon’s and I’ll be just fine! Now… I’ve got to inform you. I received these sunglasses in exchange for my unbiased review. Do I think receiving them altered my review in any way? Nope. If they’d felt horrible or cheap, I would have let you know. They are VERY lightweight, but they don’t feel cheap at all!

Some value to the price
These sunglasses do separate themselves from average sunglasses in a few ways. First, they're super lightweight, while maintaining durability. I've had them for months now in pants pockets, backpacks, and cars, and they're good as new. Second, the case is nice (although I don't use it). Third, the lense does seem to avoid getting scratched up or foggy. Of the half dozen pairs of cheap sunglasses I have in a pile to grab from when I'm heading outside, these have the clearest lenses. Others I have to take off because sunscreen or scratches have made them blurry to look through, and rinsing with water hasn't helped. These ones don't have that problem at all; they're consistently clear to look through. So for those reasons these are a good, reliable pair of sunglasses. They're great to use while running. Also I have a pretty big head and they don't squeeze my head at all; they're very comfortable to wear.

Lense easily falls off.
My recent purchase of the Olidon Polarized Sports Sunglasses has left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. While the initial impression of these sunglasses was promising, the recurring issue of the lenses detaching from the frame has rendered them virtually unusable. The primary flaw lies in the design and construction of these sunglasses. The lenses seem to detach from the frame with alarming ease, posing a constant threat to the functionality and longevity of the product. This detachment occurs even with minimal handling or when adjusting the sunglasses on my face, leading to a constant fear of losing the lenses altogether. The frustration is exacerbated by the fact that the lenses are not securely fastened to the frame. The quality of the attachment mechanism appears subpar, and it fails to withstand the basic wear and tear associated with normal use. The lack of durability in this crucial aspect of the sunglasses severely impacts their overall performance.Attempts to reattach the lenses are met with only temporary success, as they seem to come loose again after minimal movement. This recurring issue not only compromises the functionality of the sunglasses but also raises concerns about the safety of wearing them, especially during activities where secure eyewear is essential. The disappointment extends to the overall quality of the product. While the polarized lenses offer decent glare reduction and clarity, the constant detachment issue overshadows any positive aspects. The frustration and inconvenience caused by this fundamental flaw negate any potential benefits these sunglasses might offer. In conclusion, the Olidon Polarized Sports Sunglasses have proven to be a regrettable purchase due to their unreliable design and the persistent issue of lens detachment. The lack of durability and the ongoing inconvenience make them a poor choice for anyone seeking reliable and functional sports eyewear. A one-star rating reflects the substantial disappointment and inconvenience these sunglasses have caused.

Lightweight
A lot of glasses hurt my ears after a while. These are so lightweight that it's almost like not wearing anything.

On the smaller end- still works perfectly.
The sunglasses came quickly, in their own higher quality carrying case- which was a very nice touch.Putting these on, it's very immediate that these are meant for people of a certain head size and lower, with a very slight flex in the stalks that sit over your ears.As for quality and ease of use- just step out into the sun and you'll be surprised how easy it is to look at things and not feel a strain. I have glare problems personally, and these problems seemed to all but vanish when I looked at reflections with the sunglasses on.Definitely saving these for any kind of outdoor event.

They're OK
Glasses we're alright but you can't expect much for the price. If you have longer hair be careful because it'll probably get snagged in the arms of the glasses.
