this is a great product. We use these in the ambulance were i work, and i thought it was great. so when the baby came along, i was straight on to order one for myself. Because if you have a sick baby or child at home, and you're in full swing parent panic mode, needing to check temperatures all night long you can work away and do your thing without having to wake up your baby (or child) . .let me tell you, contactless is definitely the way to go. its pricey enough, but worth it. and we've tested there accuracy, and they're pretty spot on.

Love the app and the design and the feel of the product especially as it is non-invasive but I have found that it gives slightly lower readings than my ear thermometers. Initially the differences were quite high - the forehead thermometer read that my temperature was low whilst my older ear thermometer read that I had a temperature - but as I've got used to using it the gap has closed. Today it reads 36.7 while my ear thermometer shows 37.1 which isn't that much of a difference. The important thing about taking your temperature at home is that you need to know whether your temperature is rising or dropping and this thermometer does do this really well without upsetting the patient and with the help of the app keeps an accurate record of the readings. It's probably not advisable to use 2 different types of thermometers at the same time especially when one measures your core body temperature and the other can be influenced by environmental factors such as a warm/cold room and distance from the forehead etc hence the overall 4 star rating for that and ease of use. It's well worth getting to know your equipment and how to use it well when you are well rather than waiting for when you or someone else is ill therefore adding to the ensuing panic. It's also worthwhile sticking to just using the one method of taking your temperature so that any differences don't confuse matters. I'm sticking with this one from now on as I do like it especially as I really enjoy the freedom of not having to try to remember multiple readings..

Temperature readings are always off by 1-2 degrees when compared with others. Very disappointed for a brand like that I did kept the product because it has the wow factor.

I love how this thermometer works however it gives quite inaccurate readings in terms of higher readings which can be scary when trying to take a reading for a baby.

Excellent product. Highly recommended. Contactless and accurate.
