Absorbs well and is hydrating for dry skin
This facial oil feels oily when first applied to the face but absorbs into the skin well. I use it directly after toner and let it soak in/ dry for about 15 minutes before continuing the rest of my skincare routine. I noticed it definitely has helped with hydration for my dry skin and I get less flaky skin on my face throughout the day (coming from a person with extremely dry skin). The instructions say to use a dropper full of oil for the face and neck area, however, I found that half a dropper is more than enough for my face and neck. A full dropper is way too oily. I press it into my face and neck and have noticed my face looks brighter after using it. It does have a slight scent to it which I’m not big fan of but the scent doesn’t linger and disappears fairly quickly.

Expensive but worth it
I have seen Bloomeffects sold at Credo Beauty, so this is a legit brand and not some off-brand item. This is important to me because I want to make sure I'm not putting pure junk on my face and not knowing what it truly is. Now about the item itself. The main ingredient in this vitamin c facial oil is squalane (70%) which you can essentially get elsewhere for way cheaper. Aside from thinking this is just overpriced fancy squalene, it does exactly as intended and has other benefits. The directions tell you to use one dropper full day & night, but I find that just three small drops is plenty to cover my entire face. If I used the entire dropper, I would be dipping in oil. There is no noticeable smell to it, which is nice especially after seeing the long list of extended ingredients/benefits. The bottle and dropper are both of high quality. There's even little ridges/feet on the bottom on the bottle to help stabilize it when on the counter. This vitamin c facial oil definitely moisturizes and brightens your skin, without irritation. Aside from being 70% squalane (moisturizes), it also has sodium hyaluronate (hydrates and plumps), vitamin E (repairs & rebalances), Bakuchiol (smooths, firms, and tightens), vitamin B3 (strengthens skin barrier), and 20% vitamin C (brightens). If you want something to give you that glowing appearance without clogging your pores, this is the oil for you. It doesn't absorb fully into your skin, leaving your skin with a dewy look. Just make sure to apply this last in your skincare regimen.

Faulty product
Unfortunately, this arrived leaking everywhere. Everything except the actual product was in pristine condition, so it's a manufacturing fault with the bottle. It's not airtight and as a result I don't know if the formula has been compromised. It smells a bit off, presumably from basically being open for however long it was in the warehouse. Super bummed because I was really looking forward to trying it.

Not for sensitive skin
Had high hopes for this, supposed to be for sensitive skin but it caused breakouts after using for several days. Only applied a few drops to begin with. There are so many ingredients, not sure if it's caused by vitamin E or bakuchiol, whether it's a purge or just clogged pores but I'm no longer using on face. No irritation using on neck and decolletage.

An oily oil but absorbs well
Squalane has done great things for me so I was happy to see that this product contained 70%. 20% of the oil is THD Ascorbate (The vitamin C).The directions say to use a full dropperful so I did. This was enough to cover my face, my neck, my decolletage and a bit of my forearms. It spreads that well. Initially it felt quite oily and I was concerned about absorption. To my delight it absorbed completely after a few minutes. The second time I used this, I used less, about a half dropperful and massaged it in thoroughly. I still got great coverage, and I believe it absorbed faster. The scent, it smells like oil. Not perfumed or herbal and the scent did not stand out or linger. The results, my skin looked great, even toned and smooth. My skin felt great, soft, plumped and nourished.Pricey? yes, but seems to work well.

AAAAAAmazing Acne Friendly Oil!!!
This is my 2nd Bloomeffects product (I also love their black tulip overnight retinoid serum) and this oil DID NOT disappoint! This acne friendly vitamin c oil is amazing and works well with my hormonal sensitive combination picky skin. This oil soaks into my skin quickly and moisturizes perfectly (doesn’t leave a greasy feeling). My forehead is a little shiny after using but definitely not noticeable (unless looking for) or an issue for me.This never once caused my skin to flair up with pimples and it did not clog my pores.Has a very subtle floral scent (though it’s fragrance free) but goes away in seconds so those sensitive to scents should be perfectly fine with this.I also have noticeably bad hyperpigmentation that my dermatologist’s prescription couldn’t lighten so only time will tell if this will help.I absolutely highly recommend!

Such a huge fan of this brand
I have a few Bloomeffects products and I literally love them all. The products are on the pricey side, but in my opinion very worth it.I haven't been using vitamin C lately mostly because some of the serums I have are a little harsh on my face. I love that this is an oil delivery, it really helps keep my moisture locked in. Love the packaging and appreciate it isn't scented!
