I was looking to add more storage containers to my kitchen. I liked that these were metal and had clasps to fit over the lids—no worries about glass breaking or food spilling. Boxes were all the same size so lids fit all—no need to find the correct lid and box.We have taken these boxes on trips, sporting events, and out and about running errands, as well as holding leftovers. These boxes are not too small and not too big—great for controlling portion control if you want to meal prep for the week. Sometimes I need a larger box for leftovers, but I can easily grab a second or third box if necessary. We have placed a small piece of tape across the lid and wrote the contents on the tape. When the food is finished, we remove the tape and wash as usual.We have also used them in the freezer. They held up well. Because of the metal, they can’t be used in the microwave. However, it didn’t take long for the box to heat up to room temperature—just enough—to allow the contents to easily pop out of the container and onto a porcelain plate for quick defrosting in the microwave.They stack so easily for storage. They are easy to clean—we have even put them in the dishwasher—no rust.I also liked that the packaging was all easily recycled.

I bought these tins so that I could keep my fresh ground coffee, well, fresh. I’m just not up for grinding every morning and I didn’t have any appropriate containers. So far, these seem pretty perfect and I would buy them again.

I love using these small metal containers to store small snacks or leftovers, or even small meals to go. It's easy to clean, and a great alternative to plastic. The only downside is that you can't see through them so you'll have to keep track of what's inside which container.

These are good, I like them.They would be amazing if they stamped out sections on the bottom so that you could stack them. As it is, the clasps that hold the lid on make it so they are not perfectly stackable... all they would have to do is produce them with a stamped out notch on both ends so that they could stack evenly.

I sat on the fence with these for a while because of some of the reviews. The stainless steel is not thin as some reviews indicate. They are a decent weight and the silicone gasket is removable. The first time it was a little work to remove the gasket but after that first time it removes rather easily for cleaning. No leakage and the silicone gasket creates a great seal. They are perfect for my needs. I freeze individual servings of Kitchari in these without the toxins that come from plastics. These are 100% stainless aside from the gasket. I am totally happy with the purchase.

I am a flight attendant and have to meal prep and take them with me, all the time. I freeze them, I have put them in the plane oven (without the lid), and I have run them through the dishwasher several times and these are my favorite containers. And believe me, I have been though a few. I do take out the rubber seal before throwing in the dishwasher and I have never had a problem with leaking. For their small size, they really do hold a good amount of food, as you can really fill them up. It also helps keep my lunchbag cold since I freeze the meals for 3 day trips.** Update. I have been using these over a year and have ordered them two more times. Not because of defect but because I needed MORE.

These are okay. They are well-made, of a reasonable size, and seem durable. I purchased two of these as an alternative to plastic food containers. I was really hoping that these containers would be stackable, however they do not stack. The latches prevent the containers from being stackable, that is what bento boxes are supposed to do. Terrible design, unimpressed. I will be "sending these" to the island of misfit kitchen equipment.
