Q: How many feet away will it turn on? How long before it goes off after I leave the restroom?

The LED beam extends for about 8-10 feet. Appropriate light, very well lit. They stay on in the dark, they are not motion based. I’m happy with these lights.

Q: Does this light have one big prong and one small prong or are they both the same size?

The ones I bought have the same size prongs
